YannChrisFOUNDER MemberHi,
This one was used by my father for demos (he was a B&O dealer in the 70’s).
Below all the faces, including tracklists.

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberHi Skywalker,
I see you have a Halo together with BR1.
When testing the Halo at home 2years ago, I found it too limited for Video functions.
Is it still true?
I would like to buy a Halo for for daily A/V use with my Eclipse.
Kind regards,
Yann.

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberGuy,
At some time, you had to enable a sort of “accept non microsoft-signed drivers” function in Windows in order to have the Beo5/6 driver installed.
It’s maybe the same problem with Beoport, unfortunately I don’t remember how to do.
Just my 2 cents,
Yann.

YannChrisFOUNDER Member“#DNA collection” puzzles me.
Could it be another restored classic?

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberHi,
RX2 likely does not have an integrated RIAA preamp.
So it should be plugged in the “Phono” entry of the Beomaster.
It’s certainly the case but you never know 🙂
Just my 2 cents.

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberHi Guy,
One of the pictures shows part Nr 1638, with is Beolink Active.
This item was intended to create a link room (with addiditon of a pair of active speakers).
An IR eye is necessary for remote control.
More pictures there https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/o-bang-olufsen-type-1638-beolink-250461712
I do not know what the 2 other pictures refer to.
Kind regards,
Yann.

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberHi,
Beoplayer works fine on a Windows 10 64 bits PC.
The installed version is 5.04.

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberHello,
Beoplayer works on W10 in compatability mode.
I’m not sure that Beolink PC2 driver can be installed on W10.
Anyway it’s now a bit useless, apart if you with to listen to your B&O sources on your PC.
I never had a problem with ripped CDs.
Are you sure that your ripping parameters are OK as Beoplayer does not read all formats?
Kind regards,
Yann.

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberHi,
Did you add your grey M5 in your B&O account?
Just my 2 cents if it can help.

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberRob,
I found this work-around.
In your TV, you may remap the firestick input to the one used by Blu-Ray key.

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberRob,
There is another Beo5/6 sub-forum here: https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/9.aspx
You can read this topic :
https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/12278.aspx
where I found this table from Keith, Beoworld’s living memory, showing that a 32 bit OS is necessary to use the software with Beo5.

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberRob,
The key is maybe hidden and there is a way to check this:
First StdBy + Goto, then press Edit.
Enter in the zone by tapping its button.
All buttons available appear, whatever they are hidden or not on normal use.
You can navigate between keys and screens as normal.
If you see the V-Aux key, navigate to it with the keyboard’s arrows , press Go and choose “Show”.
Hope it helps.

My B&O Icons:
YannChrisFOUNDER MemberThe software was reserved to dealers.
Other members may help you to get it, the problem is to have the version which suits with your Beo5.
I suggest that you post a picture of the “informations” screen of the remote (StdBy+Go, go to Info then press Go).

YannChrisFOUNDER MemberHi Rob,
The best solution is to use the Configuration Tool software.
You should first switch to the archived forum 2007-2012, there is a dedicated sub-forum very well documented:
https://archivedforum.beoworld.org/forums/48.aspx
Be aware that Beo5 software version, Configuration Tool version and Windows version especially 32/64 bits) must be aligned.
Kind regards,
Yann.
