Happy Xmas!
Congrats to the lucky winners ☺️
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
Looking forward to this, as usual – since 2009.
Good luck to everyone! 😇
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
Actually I got the email… twice! And not as spam at all.
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberPretty sure it’s a belt issue. I’ve had the same but on the CD side!
The eBay belts are worthless by the way, they don’t last, I’ve tried. Your Beocenter was probably repaired before the sale, with a bad part. Just a wild guess mind you!
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
Yep, much faster loading pages now. Thanks!
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
It takes 4 seconds now to access Beoworld, and between pages. Better, but nowhere near as instantaneous, as it should be.
Edit: clicking edit just now took me 7 seconds before I could write anything.
Edit 2: and ten more seconds after I clicked submit.
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
Still desperately sluggish I’m afraid.
What’s going on? 🤔Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi Dick, Frede,
What a nice surprise this is!
An active Beoworlder that takes over such a reputable company is wonderful news.
Good luck to you Dick, and a happy and well-deserved retirement to Frede.

Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberThe forum remains impossibly sluggish. Any clues?
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
Glad to have you back Peter! ☺️
I use the 33/303 a lot myself and enjoy them tremendously. They are ok with B&O period speakers but the really shine with ESL57s and records.
I’d rate them as being as good as the mighty Beolab 5000.
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
I miss the blue theme here. Am I the only one?

Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi Søren,
Long time no see!
No ideas yet, but full moral support in the meantime ☺️
My own BM 4400 has been in constant, everyday use for about 10 years now, still going strong. Conclusion: they don’t like to be stored…

Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberThere are griplets on the servo board too I seem to remember. Have you done those?
Also replace capacitors on this board and as well on the CDM board.
Leave the motor well alone, it will last forever, do to speak.
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberCorrect. Before, you had no access to service manuals at all, unless you were at least silver I believe. Hence my confusion.
And the whole website remains desperately sluggish, by the way 😩
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
I’ve just renewed my Gold membership. It now works. Damn. I really had no idea. I didn’t get the end of subscription warning as I used to. Sorry.
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberThe thing is, downloading just doesn’t work (for me anyway). I’ve tried and tried to no avail.
Here’s the (broken) link to the Beogram 4000 SM:

Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
No Adam, you’re not being thick!
It doesn’t work for me either. And the whole website is impossibly sluggish too.
Whenever I try to download something, it takes me to this:Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
Do you intend to put back online the invaluable service manuals please?
I find those essential and worth the subscription alone!
Jacques
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
What annoys me the most is that the whole website is numb. Every action takes time, as if there were too many redirections or something. Click and wait…
Location: BurgundyGOLD MemberHi,
I can’t seem to be able to find the service manuals any longer.
This is an invaluable ressource for me.Any clues?
