I unplugged the line out from the Beoport and connected to my phone, played some music and it worked.  So I put the cable back into the Beoport and it also worked! Maybe I had disturbed the cable earlier and have now connected it properly.  Thanks for getting me to try this.

I do have speakers, well actually an old hifi system, connected to the Powerlink port but nothing to the headphone jack. Will try another device to the line in.

Just had a response from B&O support. It is a known issue which they are working to fix. There is a temporary solution to switch the radio back to Tunein and then back to  B&O Radio, this works for me.

It might be that I migrated to B&O Radio before adding the Core.

Carola, thanks for that about the primary,  I thought I had seen something like that but couldn’t find it.

I have spoken to my local dealer who sold me the core and they said the same about the preference but I already had it set. They have raised a call with B&O about B&O Radio. Will report back on response.

An update. I did a factory reset and this time I made the BLC the primary Beolink product and the Eclipse the secondary Beolink product and I can both select the Masterlink sources in the local sources screen and then choose them in the app and on the remote. I can select the Eclipse sources in the local sources but they do not show in the app or the remote.  I can join a playing Eclipse source.

Still no B&O Radio and I appear to be at the last version of the software, 2.1.50871.22855122.

The app shows B&O radio but it also says the Core does not support it. Will carry on investigating.  Paul

My database shows 2021-11-15. I tried running the database updater, it said successful but made no difference.  Paul

It is called Loftbox,  it is quite old. It does have a Sat input. From what you are saying could I not just boost the signal coming into the loftbox? Paul

I have tried 2 metal splitters, one 47 – 860 MHz and one 0 -1000 MHz. The second one seems better. I will try a complete retune as some stations lock on and others give just static.

    1) on my Galaxy Tab A far too slow, on my Samsung A13 fine. On the Tab A only works effectively in landscape mode again fine for the A13

    2) never sure if I am a fan of the book approach over pdf readers they look good but I find scrolling can be more effective

    3) I do see that value of the ability to browse a document this way.

Thanks for the work in adding this. Paul

in reply to: The Prize Draw – Thoughts Please… #43908

Firstly, thanks to Lee and Keith not just for keeping the site going but for their help in resolving problems.  I took out a Gold membership because I was using the site a lot and felt I should contribute,  a prize would be nice but have not had one so won’t actually miss. Though the prize draw is always worth looking forward to. I would be happy to pay a higher membership fee and have a bi-annual or annual draw if that keeps the site valid. For comparison my other hobby is just about keeping  a 1985 Renault 5 Gordini Turbo on the road and a replacement battery has just cost me £60 including delivery so £30 for helping keep this site running is good value. My Eclipse now has B&O Radio working and available from both the App and Beoremote. Just had an update to the app which seemed to make it work.

    Guy,

    answers to your questions:

    1. the IR Eye only seems to work with the PC switched on
    2. I don’t seem to get a delay with BBC radio stations but do get a short delay with the first station. I have a new behavior though, changing station mutes the playback and I have to open the volume mixer to unmute, will investigate further.
    3. I have the audio socket connected to the sound card input on the PC so that I can play Masterlink sources on the PC.
