Sure – but you’ll need to activate and control the 3500 to get sound.

The 1611 can be hidden away once the connection is done.

              Looks ok.

If your network is ok (it seems that you want to use cabled connections), you could use the ISP and skip the other.

Why use a switch? Maybe your router has not enough ports?
Just place it where you need it in the setup.

I do not see a need for the delay box at all (as I already wrote).

As for media server – there are many out there….just do a google search.
Personally I run the built-in server on an old Synology NAS, which I probably won’t change since I hardly use my stored files…..I am streaming ?

In the setup of the Level there should be a ‘Connected To’ setting.

Also you should be able to use one of the MyButtons.

(Rather deep) in the settings of the M3 you can choose the sensitivety.

Easiest way to listen to the turntable already playing on the M3 I guess will be just to ‘Join in’ on the Level.

                Note!
If you just want to use the M3 for the distribution – and not for listening there – you can change the startup volume of it to zero.

A YT video, that shows real life pictures of the BS Theatre:

Not that most of you will understand much, but it is nice to see the product at the launch event.

                    That works well!

A lot of people have their turntable connected to the line-in of an M3 – just like I did a while ago.

Dependent on how you use it, it must be configured in the app for easy access on the Level.

If I understand your question right…..

                      You don’t!

The 1611 was created to convert the old MCL system to the (then) newer ML system.

The BL3500 is a dedicated link speaker that needs a master (audio or video) to be used.

If setup right, you can draw on the sources from e.g. an audiomaster/the sources there (radio/cd……).

You control the BL3500 with the remote – have a look here:

I can’t say for sure which is best – connecting to the tv or to the Stage?

However, you only need one HDMI out of the DVD player.

And you will only need to connect this to the ethernet, if the player has some kind of app interface, which you’d like to use……this probably is not the case, since you already have a lot of apps on the tv.

Just use one HDMI out (the one labelled video/to tv) – I’d try to connect to the LG first.

By the way – the LG UBK90 is not just a DVD player, but also plays Bluray disc……should you ever get hold of one.

Since you have no Masterlinked sources in the setup, there is nothing to delay.
                            You do not need it!

                              For the record…

….my Avant 1st gen runs perfect.

However, I had to have the DVE exchanged a year ago – which I ‘happily’ paid the price for.

Would have been a crying shame to have such a nice BV trown away because of this.

You will also have to go (deep) into the settings of the Essence.

In the app navigate untill you reach the webinterface of the product.

                                  ’Configure’ and then ‘Settings’

There you will see ‘Beolink’ -> ‘Connect to other products’?
This is where you choose your BV.

Don’t forget – both products must be on the same home network!

Be aware that there are two versions of the Avant.

The one that is mentioned above is the 1 gen.

As far as I know the costs for the DVE replacement are not that high anymore (as a dealer before you decide).

If you can live with this risk and am willing to put some money aside from the start, you will get a pretty decent Beovision. Furthermore you must know that you’ll have to add an AppleTV/Chromecast etc solution, since the smart tv platform is not up to date anymore.

The second version (called NG) is younger, but is based on an Android platform, which a lot of the B&O fans does not like.
However, it is said to run rather smooth with the latest updates.
Also here most people add a ATV….
There are some of these that may have display issues.

Both are based on the BSys4 audio engine, which gives you a lot of options, when connecting additional speakers.

Many – both 1 gen and NG – are being used nowadays and people tend to like them, but you must consider that these are old tv’s.

The NL/ML converter must be connected to the home network/router via a wired connection……the same network as the newer products are connected to (wire or wireless).

This means – the Converter is integrated with your network router through the wired connection and so to the NL products: these can be wired or wireless connected to this same network.

The Masterlink port is used for the ML products ( = your BL2000’s including the masterlink driver).

The setting PCM in the ATV means that the ATV must decode the stream – this way you won’t get any Atmos metadata….and thus no indication in the app.

If set to Auto the ATV will know what us on ‘the other end’ and will send the Atmos stream for the Stage to decode = indication in the app.
