Many mentions of B&O products in the Danish, Aarhus based TV Show “Dicte”.
Each time it is used to underline de wealthyness of a character when police visit his appartment: “He must be rich, it’s B&O TV !”No captures sorry…
Location: Paris FranceModeratorBump.
Can’t see iphone’s music libray in the B&O App and can’t follow guidelines found on Beoworld Forum: no option for itune’s library, only streaming and HomeMedia.
Thanks.
Location: Paris FranceModerator(incorrect temp sensor reading preventing the charging?)
Very dumb and ignorant assumption from me but yes, I believe the main problem could be here. I’ve tried lots of batteries that didnt work inside the beo6 but that worked well outside as regular batteries.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorThanks Millemissen.
I need to add that the phone is used as just a phone and does not play any role in the setup beside the iTunes Remote app that allows to browse the iTunes library on the Mac mini so n direct connection between the first two.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorSorry to say , and I “might” be wrong, but the answer is – NO –
BS3000 Small clamper are well know for “fried IC” issu.
I Believe there is a solution, involving buying new, custom made IC’s but I think it not worth the hassle.
I Sympathized (got one too that made a very good facia for a cheap and aesthethicaly wasted BS2300.

Location: Paris FranceModeratorHi alls,
Two weeks of usual use without problem.
The sleeping room one notably ,that used to have problems with Apple Remote IR commands that drains the battery instantaneously is now working well.
Regards.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorI respectfully disagree.
I believe that for any B&O enthusiats the difference between vintage or not is quite clear.
I also tend to think that the new organisation “by product line” is not efficient.
I reckon it may be because of old habits from the previous forums.
My two cents…
Location: Paris FranceModeratorLocation: Paris FranceModeratormatador, do you even feel fear? I am impressed with your skills. I do have a (screen)dead BR1BT keyboard for you if wanted? Regards, Johan
It’s easy to not be scared when it’s not your stuff!
Maybe your BR1BT keyboard worth to be repaired, no? It’s actually not that complicated once you know how it works.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorThanks Yohan, It’s a joy to have them back.
The flamingo’s name is Crockett and he keeps an eye on the house!
Location: Paris FranceModeratorHi alls again,
After 24 hours docked and some quick testing it seems that they’re all back!
I need now to refine some programming and screen art…
Of course very very warm thank you to all members that have crash-tested those battery for the greedy me.
@Yannchris, if you ever need some screen design, i’ll be your guy. This is Beoworld.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorAs for the BC5000 it is completly dead,
Nothing B&O is ever “completly dead”, maybe the Beosound 3 and still, not always.
Correct your post unless I will have to moderate it! 🙂
Location: Paris FranceModeratorJealousy…
Location: Paris FranceModeratorHi alls,
I received today three of those CS battery: very nice packaging, oversized box, shipping one week shorter than expected.
Two of them are currently in two remotes that are on their respective docks, charging.
So far so good…
Location: Paris FranceModeratorHi Guys,
I delivered the part to the owner yesterday and he was able to try it.
It worked.
Regards.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorHi Beoworlders, After a few days of testing everything goes well. Note that I do not use my Beo5 and 6 that much as they are part of my secondary system. I’ll let you know if things turn bad. Kind regards, Yann.
I just have ordered three of them: hope they will bring back life to my remotes. I’ll keep you posted!
Location: Paris FranceModeratorThank you Beobuddy,
The two pictures seems to show the same PCB. Looking at the red socket they look like shown from the same side and in the first I cant see any capacitor.
I dont know much about SMD electronics but What I fear is that it would exist some capacitor so tiny that it would be veru difficult to replace them.
Are all smd capacitors look like that little aluminium can or are they some that look like resistors, like very difficult to replace?
Location: Paris FranceModeratorHi and welcome to Beoworld.
The whole forum has been recently fully refurbished and some features are not back still, like the attachements. Thats why you can’t see the STL’s. Be patient and they will be soon available again.
Please understand that I just can not send personnaly the file after each individual inquiries, I would spend my time sending e-mails.
Be patient.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorThanks a lot Yann for reporting back.
This is good news and I may order a couple of them also.
Please could you tell us how the battery level is evolving after an evening of usual use (Vol, skipping channels, etc…)?
And also if you have third party controls like Apple TV or any other Non-B&O device to control? Because I believe the drain the battery faster.Anyway thanks a lot again for testing them for all of us.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorThanks Madskp,
I did it on my Century IR board, yes. But the thing is I got this picture of the PCB 14 on the internet and I can’t see a capacitor I can replace on it.
I can also find picture that PCB where the caps are easy to locate:
That’s why I’m asking if anyone knows which PCB is in the MK2 BS9000.
