Very dumb and ignorant assumption from me but yes, I believe the main problem could be here. I’ve tried lots of batteries that didnt work inside the beo6 but that worked well outside as regular batteries.

I need to add that the phone is used as just a phone and does not play any role in the setup beside the iTunes Remote app that allows to browse the iTunes library on the Mac mini so n direct connection between the first two.

Sorry to say , and I “might” be wrong, but the answer is – NO –

BS3000 Small clamper are well know for “fried IC” issu.

I Believe there is a solution, involving buying new, custom made IC’s but I think it not worth the hassle.

I Sympathized (got one too that made a very good facia for a cheap and aesthethicaly wasted BS2300.

Hi alls,

Two weeks of usual use without problem.

The sleeping room one notably ,that used to have problems with Apple Remote IR commands that drains the battery instantaneously is now working well.

I respectfully disagree.

I believe that for any B&O enthusiats the difference between vintage or not is quite clear.

I also tend to think that the new organisation “by product line” is not efficient.

I reckon it may be because of old habits from the previous forums.

Two of them are currently in two remotes that are on their respective docks, charging.

The two pictures seems to show the same PCB. Looking at the red socket they look like shown from the same side and in the first I cant see any capacitor.

I dont know much about SMD electronics but What I fear is that it would exist some capacitor so tiny that it would be veru difficult to replace them.

Are all smd capacitors look like that little aluminium can or are they some that look like resistors, like very difficult to replace?

The whole forum has been recently fully refurbished and some features are not back still, like the attachements. Thats why you can’t see the STL’s. Be patient and they will be soon available again.

This is good news and I may order a couple of them also.

Please could you tell us how the battery level is evolving after an evening of usual use (Vol, skipping channels, etc…)?
And also if you have third party controls like Apple TV or any other Non-B&O device to control? Because I believe the drain the battery faster.

I did it on my Century IR board, yes. But the thing is I got this picture of the PCB 14 on the internet and I can’t see a capacitor I can replace on it.

I can also find picture that PCB where the caps are easy to locate:

That’s why I’m asking if anyone knows which PCB is in the MK2 BS9000.
