It even happens when the PUC-cable is loose (happened with my BluRay player). I hope for a solution (my dealer too).

First: Thanks to the moderation team!!!
Up to now I won three times:
- Cool Brands 2011/2012: Nice reading including my BV 8 (now my sister’s)
- BeoSound 5: What a nice Christmas present!
- Struer trip 2012!!!
The third was the most important experience for me worth quite a bit more than 30 £ a year.
My recommendation: Prize draw only if the team does not have to invest its own money. More opportunities of meeting in real life (Annual meeting in Struer? Local meetings? Meetings at certain venues with B&O like IFA, CES (for me a little bit too far from home, as Peter Parker would say)).
PS: This forum helped me much to make the right decisions concerning buying B&O items, avoiding disappointments.

Yesterday I replaced my Apple TV HD by an Apple TV 4k (v. 2022). I just took off the cables of my old Apple TV and connected the new one. The spot for the PUC cable (IR-sensor) at the new Apple TV is at the front in the middle just a few mm below the upper edge. It works and obeys to the BeoRemote One!

Do you remember the outcry around the world, as B&O produced a bottle opener? The designer should not have waisted so much time for a me-too-product. There were enough bottle openers in the market.

Installation of Beosound Theatre + LG G2 55″ + Beosound 9000 + Apple TV and Blurayplayer (both soon to be replaced by 4K versions) successful after a small network hiccup caused by the brandnew – but defect out of the box – cable between the Theatre and the TV. A 1m replacement out of my stock and the systematic trouble shooting approach by my dealer solved the problem. Pictures will follow.

Tuesday 25th will be the delivery and installation day only interrupted by a partial solar eclipse at high noon. My dealer was wise enough to order a few units in advance.

Me next week as a replacement for my Beovision 8, which did a marveleous job in combination with BeoLab 9 (not 90) and BeLab 4000. I have to look for a person or familiy in my family clan, who apreciates my old but good as new BV 8.
