Congratulations on the tremendous work of launching the Beoworld Forum!!!

    Everything is just gorgeous!

The only question is, where did the fixed theme go with the materials and instructions for the Beosound Theatre, which was always at the top of all the topics? She is extremely useful and it would be good if she returned to her place.

It’s really very interesting! Thank you for your information. Regarding the boxes for wireless connection of BeoLab to TV of other brands, could you provide a link to this equipment? I wonder if it is possible to use it, for example, with the BL 8002? I would be extremely grateful to you.

Good afternoon! And what is the correct full name of this converter for BR One, which allows you to control LG TV, so that it can be ordered in another country and which connectors you need to connect it to the TV, or is the connection wireless with the TV itself? It is clear that the connection with the remote control is wireless.

    Good afternoon!

What is the difference between CEC and PUC? How is PUC control implemented?

CEC, as far as I know, is implemented programmatically in HDMI, starting with version 1.4 (ARC), including the latest modification of eARC in version HDMI 2.1. What is needed to connect via PUC?

    Greetings!

In connection with the upgrade of Core to the Mozart platform, I wanted to ask if there is any information about the upgrade of Stage to Mozart in Beovision Contour?

And one more question – is B&O radio integrated into it? Is it possible to play it when the TV is connected to the network and, accordingly, Stage too, but the screen is not turned on or only when the screen is turned on?

    Thank you, Sandib!

I have figured out, as it seems to me, this issue. The problem is that Simon Weir mistakenly referred to the modification of the HDMI cable as UHD 2, created specifically for eARC. In fact, we are talking about an Ultra-high-speed HDMI cable, called UHS, which has Generation issue No. 1 and No.2. So, the Gen No.2, was created specifically for eARC. Therefore, Simon Weir’s mistake is that he wrote UHD 2, but he should have written UHS 2, then everything becomes logical and understandable.

I have only one question left – which of the brands, manufacturers is the leader in the production of HDMI cables in order to purchase a decent quality cable?

According to him, not all cables of the 2.1 specification support eARC, but only those designated as UHD 2. Therefore, I would like to understand what is meant?

The Beosound Theater LG G3 Apple TV – Simon Weir mentioned in his post, which I quoted, that the HDMI cable, if certified for eARC, must have the designation UHD-2 (UHD II). But I didn’t find any either. Therefore, the question arose: what kind of cables,  who produce, maybe a novelty?

Убедитесь, что ваш кабель HDMI поддерживает UHD-2 (UHD II) (высокоскоростное подключение по Ethernet, разработанное для eARC), чего не делают все кабели спецификации 2.1.

    Good evening!

Tell me the full name of the HDMI UHD II eARC cables to find purchase offers from trusted manufacturers. I could not find cables with such an abbreviation UHD II. I would be very grateful to you.

If the router is completely disconnected, to replace it with a new one, Beosaund Emerge will not be able to connect to the network due to its absence. You wrote that you need to disconnect Beosaund Emerge from the power supply, and then reconnect it to the power supply and it will enter the network setup menu automatically.

As far as I understood correctly, after disconnecting the router from the network, I also have to disconnect Beosound Emerge from the network and connect BE back to the network, then it will automatically switch to network setup mode, and where in the Application will I have to enter the password for the new network?
Will there be some window for me to see a new network and enter a password?
Or if to keep old the SSID and password for connecting to WI-FI the same in the new router, then the connection will also happen automatically?

Если вы полностью меняете свой маршрутизатор, например, отключаете старую сеть и продукты больше не могут к ней подключаться, они также автоматически перейдут в режим настройки сети после отключения питания.

Thank you for the detailed answer.

    Good afternoon!

I am interested in how the Application implements a connection to a new WI-FI network in order to save my settings. I did not find the section “Setting up a wi-fi network” by analogy with a smartphone, when there is a list of found networks, enter the password and connect.

I mean, when, for example, Beosaund Emerge is already connected to a WI-FI network, and there is a need to change the router, then how to reconnect to a new network to save the settings? If you press the < > keys, then according to the instructions, this may lead to a factory reset, and this would not be desirable.

I have version 5.4.0.231011-36631, but the new changes have already come into effect, which are being discussed in the beta version.

    Thank you for your attention.

Of course, the features with the use of speakers must be taken into account and I take this into account.

I am interested, first of all, in the stability of the Stage and LG software, sound and picture synchronization, the stability of the Beoremote one, the convenience of managing LG settings, the reliability of pairing the remote with LG, does the connection disappear? Is the Atmos sound and effect enough for a bedroom of 20 sq.m.?

Perhaps there are some other features that  should know.

    Greetings!

I am also considering the possibility of purchasing BV Contour 48 for a bedroom with a wall mount, so I would be glad to hear feedback from practical owners and discuss all the pros/cons, features and nuances. If there are real owners of BV Contour 48/55, I ask you to share your impressions of its operation. I would be extremely grateful.
