Strike on the workbench?
Only 2 topics listed.
Regards,
Yann.
I migrated the old data back across as there were a lot of missing reply’s.
The main result is that most of the topics need to be added back to the corresponding forums, this will take several days at least.Whilst attaching the topics back to the forums, I am moving the a round a little – I ;hope that this will give a little more structure and help people find information easier.

multicare.org.ukI am debating if the PM’s will be introduced again.
I have received a couple of requests to be removed form the PM’s so people are unable to contact them.We are still open to it, I think it will depend on how many users want it and what it will be used for.
Double posts are related to the old information not being indexed correctly, I hope to do this soon.
Just need to pluck up the courage to delete the posts and import again – I will need to switch off the server for a bit while it happens. If all goes well it should only be down for an hour or so.

multicare.org.ukHi
On YannChris saidIt seems some topics are uncomplete, replies are partly shown.
For example this thread: https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/topic/beogram-6006-arm-not-going-back-to-parking-position/
I well remember having recieved replies on my request, but all are missing.
Regards,
Yann.
Hi, there are some replies that have not imported correctly, I am currently trying to write a script to sort this out.
The issue is that when all the data was imported, the MySQL generated new ID number but it does not update the forum indexing.
There also seems to be an issue of when posts go for moderation it is throwing a wordpress error
Both issues are on the issue tracker and being worked on at the moment.

multicare.org.ukOn Madskp saidThanks for clarifying. I was suspecting that the subscription thing was not that easy to fix. For now I will just check the subscription status whenever I am in a post.
Thanks for showing where to find the links for the forum views. I guees I am not used to find features like that in the bottom of a page.
The reason for not quoting in this post is that when I tried before I got a WordPress critical error.
I also got that earlier when I tried to insert a picture in a postNo worries, looks like it went in for moderation, I need to have a look at this too. Seems to be quite a few getting flagged for moderation.
We could do without a wordpress error

I found a good feature of the previous forum implementation was to have a link to most recent topics. Vould this be provided again?
Navigating through the various (many!) sub-topics is a little bit cumbersome, in my opinion.+1
Just found out that the wiew ofvthe forum can be changed with the BB button on the top bar to get this feature. Guess we just have to learn a few new things ?
For dome reason I could not attach a picture to the post
It is also on the home page of the forum.

multicare.org.ukOn Madskp saidJust noticed that subscriptions that was made to topics on the forum before the changes are no longer in my subscriptions.
@Multicare do you think that it is possible to transfer these subscriptions, or should we go through topics we have made and/or replied to to reenable it?Thanks in advance
I will see what I can do, there are still some issue with topics and the reply not showing, I can see the data but struggling to see how I can merge them back together without messing it all up or deleting something . ?
I have added to the issue tracker.

multicare.org.ukOn Millemissen saidI have already asked this question above…
How do I start a new topic/discussion?
I see no button/no option for that anywhere.By the way…..the Contact page is mysterious and far too complicated.
Why ask who I am, if I am already logged in?
That page should know!MM
If you go to the forum of where you want to start a new topic.
scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see the start new area
Noted with regards to the contact form, this is due to our administration team occasionally looking after the emails from the contact form. We will look to see if there is something we can do to help on this.
