We’ve recently been working on the My Account section to address some issues where members couldn’t update their account details, particularly their display name and avatar. Hopefully, these issues are now resolved! While we were at it, we also made a few updates and improvements that we think you’ll enjoy.

Here’s what’s new:

• Location Update: We’ve moved the location field from under the avatar to be inline with the signature. We’ve also added a “Favourite Product” field. These are optional, but adding your location can be helpful for others when responding to your posts—especially when buying, selling, or posting wanted items.
• My B&O Icons: You can now showcase some of your Bang & Olufsen products! While not all products have icons yet, we’re open to adding more if needed. We encourage members to keep their showcases short and sweet (just a few products) for easier viewing, especially on mobile.
• File Downloads: You’ll now find a history of the files you’ve downloaded in your account. Currently, they’re not clickable, but we might add that functionality in the future.
• Forum Information: This section now gives you a quick overview of your activity in the forum.

As everyone will be arriving at different times, we kindly ask you to make your own travel arrangements to and from the Grand Hotel Struer. This includes both your journey from home to the hotel and your return trip.

After breakfast we will make our way to Bang & Olufsen for a look around the following areas 😁
Lunch and refreshments will be provided whilst at Bang & Olufsen, we may get the opportunity to ask questions to some of Bang & Olufsen’s experts over lunch.

Friday 10th October – B&O History Day

A bit of breakfast in the morning first, then we will make our way to:

• B&O Bremdal History collection

Dinner on Friday is optional, we understand that members may want to start their journey back home. If there is demand, we would be happy to stay over on the Friday and start our journey home on Saturday 11th

Once we have the number of members wishing to join us, we will be able to give an idea of the costs involved. we hope to be able to arrange a good rate with each venue and offer our members a package deal.

That is correct, we are the UK’s official Bang & Olufsen classic service center, we repair the whole product range.
Covering both warranty and chargeable repairs.

It was a pleasure meeting and showing you around the Multicare workshop.

We’re so glad you enjoyed the tour – it’s always special for us to share our passion for restoring these classic Bang & Olufsen pieces. There’s a lot of history in that warehouse, and it’s true that even the well-worn pieces find a way to stick around! I’m glad you were impressed by the work we’re doing; bringing those original BG4000s back to life is a real labour of love, and knowing you’re considering it for your own Beogram means a lot to us.

It was wonderful of you to lend us the Beogram 3000 Thorens – it’s a real gem. Your donation of extra goodies will be put to good use, and who knows, they might just become prizes that make another enthusiast’s day.

Thank you for your kind words and your recommendation to Beoworld members. We’re grateful to be part of this community and to have the opportunity to work on such unique pieces for people like you. It’s a joy to keep these machines playing beautifully for many years to come!  Reproducing some of the PCBs has become necessary with some of the classic products, we have managed to create LED kits for the BeoGram 4000, 4002, 4004 & 6000.
As you mentioned we recreated the control panel flex PCB for your BeoMaster 4401 and more recently we reproduced a PCB for the BeoMaster Terminal which was draining the battery.

It was all very last minute, we received confirmation that a room was available around 16:30 the day before. A quick rush to the office to pack up the van ready for setting off in the morning.

Under the rubber foot there are 4 screws, remove them and lift off the battery cover.
