After our initial drawing, a few winners dropped out, prompting us to conduct a new random selection to fill the vacant spots. The updated list of winners has been finalised, and we’ve even created a video to showcase the drawing process.

by selecting one of the buttons in the toolbar, you can add the following to your post

You can still add images to this content box by selecting the image icon.
Other file types should be added as an attachments

Thanks Madskp, some good ideas.

1. Regarding images, this would be a good addition to the product pages, we will have a think about how this can look
2. I’m not sure about the software side for eproms, it’s not something that we really have. of course if there is some out there we are more than willing to add them to the product pages
3. All of the additional information for the service manuals will be available, of course we can collate information from members where there is some incorrect information. The can be a section in the product page.

The current projects we are working on are

• Backend code – rewriting some of the code to hopefully improve and streamline a bit more.
• Product images – we are looking to update some of the product photos
• Service Manuals – Of course we are still adding service manuals, this is very time consuming. I am currently trying to investigate an alternate method of how we upload and make them visible whilst still only allowing them to be available to our gold & silver members

Sometimes posts get blocked because of certain characters. If you notice a post has been blocked, please let me know straight away so we can add it to the allow list. With more entries on the list, we’re hoping fewer posts will be blocked.

Also, if there’s anything about the site that doesn’t seem quite right, please do share your thoughts with us. We’re always keen to improve!

Quick Update!

We’ve sent out a few emails to our lucky winners, but some of you haven’t responded yet. If that’s you, please check your inbox and spam folder and get back to us as soon as possible!

If we don’t hear back by 21st February 2025, we’ll assume you’re no longer able to attend, and your spot will be passed on to someone else.

We’ve recently been working on the My Account section to address some issues where members couldn’t update their account details, particularly their display name and avatar. Hopefully, these issues are now resolved! While we were at it, we also made a few updates and improvements that we think you’ll enjoy.

Here’s what’s new:

• Location Update: We’ve moved the location field from under the avatar to be inline with the signature. We’ve also added a “Favourite Product” field. These are optional, but adding your location can be helpful for others when responding to your posts—especially when buying, selling, or posting wanted items.
• My B&O Icons: You can now showcase some of your Bang & Olufsen products! While not all products have icons yet, we’re open to adding more if needed. We encourage members to keep their showcases short and sweet (just a few products) for easier viewing, especially on mobile.
• File Downloads: You’ll now find a history of the files you’ve downloaded in your account. Currently, they’re not clickable, but we might add that functionality in the future.
• Forum Information: This section now gives you a quick overview of your activity in the forum.

We hope these updates enhance your experience, and we’d love to hear your feedback! 😊

As everyone will be arriving at different times, we kindly ask you to make your own travel arrangements to and from the Grand Hotel Struer. This includes both your journey from home to the hotel and your return trip.

We understand that travel methods may vary, with some arriving by car, train, plane, or other means. Please plan your trip accordingly to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.

Wednesday 8th October – Arrival & Meetup

• 19:00 – Beoworld will be having dinner at the Grand Hotel Struer, all members are welcome to join us.

Thursday 9th October – B&O Factory Day 

After breakfast we will make our way to Bang & Olufsen for a look around the following areas 😁
Lunch and refreshments will be provided whilst at Bang & Olufsen, we may get the opportunity to ask questions to some of Bang & Olufsen’s experts over lunch.

• Beohome
• Listening room
• Concept and Design area
• Dinner – TBC

Friday 10th October – B&O History Day

A bit of breakfast in the morning first, then we will make our way to:

• B&O Bremdal History collection
• Lunch – TBC
• Struer Museum
• Dinner – TBC

Dinner on Friday is optional, we understand that members may want to start their journey back home. If there is demand, we would be happy to stay over on the Friday and start our journey home on Saturday 11th

Once we have the number of members wishing to join us, we will be able to give an idea of the costs involved. we hope to be able to arrange a good rate with each venue and offer our members a package deal.
