With the BROne you have control using bluetooth – and this works only with the device the remote is paired to.
If you want to control another you have to switch to that (assumed the remote is set up for more devices).Controlling through the app works over the local network and there you have control of several devices on the same page/through one interface.
However, they are still individually controlled – there is no ‘universal’ volume control of all devices.P.S.
Volume controlling groupwise is only available, if you use Chromecast for streaming and have made the wanted group of devices in the Google app.
This does not work in the B&O app.MM

…..something that lets you connect and halfways hide the conversion cable – and then stick your iPad with velcro to that.I doubt that you can find a way to ‘Dremel out’ in order for the iPad and the cable to fit into the original mould.
But – who knows – maybe you will come up with a solution….to show here.And yes it is a pity that you can’t use a newer iPad with the A3 – it was a nice idea and quite good sounding.
My own – with the original iPad – still works with Spotify and Radio Paradise/TuneIn (older versions)….at least last time I tried.
Nowadays it works as a clock and stays so……just for nostalgia.MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkWhat would really be interesting for me, in the future when the Theatre will work with Mozart speakers, is to use 2 A5’s as additional temporary surround speakers. The battery would allow for placement where a power outlet is not available.
It would be cool to be able to snap one from the tv setup for listening in the garden (BT or Wifi) and be sure that it would know it’s role as a surround speaker, once it is back again ?

Location: Flensborg————DanmarkHi MM, The A5 does not allow feeding analogue audio into the USB-C port. However, it can connect to a computer using a USB-C cable and thhis will play the computer audio to the speaker, as well as charging the speaker. Kind regards, Steve.

As long as the battery is full, you – theoretically – can use this for feeding audio (has to be tested, though).
But having to swap cables to charge * in the midst of an album, would be a no go for me.
(I am not aware of a solution/dongle that could charge the battery and pass audio through at the same time).The A5 was made for wireless feeding of audio.
Imo there is nothing wrong with that……unless you absolutely want to connect a turntable (or an older Beosystem ?)*Would be interesting to know, if connecting to a computer also includes charging?

However, it will be compared to the Beolit xx – but it is in any way better (again imo).The size makes it a portable/moveable speaker/BS…..with a ‘sound’ that is big ?
The only way to judge it, is to see and hear.
As with any speaker/BS this is not for everyone.Looking forward to hear what people – who had a proper listen – will say.

Location: Flensborg————DanmarkI had the opportunity to listen to the BS A5 today (in Struer).
Pretty amazing for the size – as a stereo setup it sounds even better, of course.
I did not make photos…..those, that you can see tomorrow at launch day, will be better anyway.
Starting tomorrow you can see/hear it in the shops – pictures will certainly not do this rather small speaker justice.
With the Mozart platform and the future options this will bring to it, it – in my opinion – is a resonably priced product.
I am sure it will sell well.
I wonder if I can find a place for it at home ?
N.B.
If is possible to use it as a BT speaker only, if that is what you’d want….and you can charge your phone on top of it.MM
