Please remember the required cable!
The BeoSound Core version without IR had the type nr. 2797. The newer is type nr. 3051.

Thank you both for thinking ahead – we need that!9LEE wrote:
‘So, we have the saying “If you’re not paying, YOU are the product”. I’m not sure where it was first said, but it’s very true. Companies who offer amazing platforms for free need to be getting their money from somewhere and most of it is simply the selling of your data, or having huge amounts of advertising. BeoWorld has neither, and never will have.’This is one main reason I stick to the Beoworld forum.
I’d like as much basic knowledge of B&O and the possibilities etc as possible to be free – including the access to the old and the old, old forum.——
Call the interested person, who wants to write/ask or even contribute a ‘Basic Member’.
No trying to ‘sell-stuff-or-wanting-to-buy-stuff-posts’ however, should be allowed for the basic members. The member with full access to everything could be called ‘VIP Member’.
Whatever you decide, it is a good idea to have only two levels.
Of course it needs to be visible on the website what the difference/the benefits of being a full/VIP member is…..including that one then contributes financially to the future of the forum.

Location: Flensborg————DanmarkHard to say, when one does not know the version of your Beo4….you’ll need one with the joystick anyway.
Did you try the Play button (given there is one on your remote)?
MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkThanks millemissen, are these sources internal LG tv sources or hdmi sources connected to the Theatre? thanks
Oh, sorry – they are connected to the Theatre and PUC’ed (except for the Chromecast Ultra dongle, obviously).
The only component of the LG-tv I use is – occasionally – the tuner…..and then the screen, of course.MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkPlease excuse the dust on the remote…..and the bad quality of the photos.
But it shows how my Theatre remote looks – I have only 4 entries there (all that I need).MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkA preused BM4500 should be easy to find……depending on your location.
Ebay or alike!
Or maybe at a ‘local’ B&O dealer.MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkI doubt that you can get any of those chips anymore.
The best way would be to find another one with that version – most had it – and use that…..or use the unit instead of your own.MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkHi all guess what i bought another moment and have a question to ask. Can i connect my new sonos era speaker to the moment as i tried the search on the moment without any joy thanks Ejmbon
The Era has a line-in connection – see here:
Sonos Era line-in how-toFrom the Moment/Powerlink out, you will need an adapter cable to connect to the Era/line-in dongle.
However, please allow me to ask….what a you trying to achieve with this combination, that the Era can not do on its own with the Sonos app?
Maybe you are using the beolink to other B&O devices function???MM

Location: Flensborg————DanmarkSome times this is the case with one of the ports or kt is programable.
A Sony dealer should know.
MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkI’ve seen it yesterday.
It’s a mix of improved sound of the Beolit 20 and functionality of the Level. So mozart based with wifi, stereo pairing etc.
The looks of it is very nice.Price, please? Are there cover options – not just wood? MM
1000€ for the non-wood option and 1200€ the wood option. The non-wood option is some sort of plastic cover afaik.
—————
That is less than the BS Level.
There must be some major differences, or?MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkPrice, please?
Are there cover options – not just wood?
MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkThere you go ?
MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkWhat is interesting here is, whether it is a bluetooth only speaker or if it has some Beolink Multiroom capacities (maybe even based on the Mozart platform)?
In the first case not so interesting….just another one in a long line (which does not say it can be better than the rest).
In the second it would be highly interesting!!!We will soon know.
MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkActually it is quite simple.
Supposed you have made a list of your favourite B&O Radio stations in the app….
After you have set up the Beoremote with the actual product – using the app – this list will be available in the display of the remote, when you choose radio (from the Music button) and right click (there is an arrow there to indicate that).
After that you can scroll with the up/down arrows through the list to the station, you want to listen to – then press ‘Go’ (the big button in the middle).MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkHi Joost, all, did anyone see or try this product: https://neomesteren.dk/en/produkter/neoradio?
What could be interesting is the claim “Neo Stream is developed for Neo Radio. You experience it as DAB channels. Change channels with your Beo4 or Beoremote One. It couldn’t be easier.” There is no manual available on the site, so how that exactly works is not clear to me. I would guess it converts internet radio into an FM signal that is fed into the antenna input plug. It states that the Neo Radio supports BeoSound 9000. Not supercheap either (3000 dkk / 400 eur) and currently out of stock. Regards, Johan
Should be available now.
Not cheap, but certainly a solution to concider:
Internetradio for older Beomasters/center/soundsMM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkThe problems here mainly is the way you have to use/control the setup.
As Tignum writes it is possible to get the sound from the LG to the BSys3 – I’d be an advocate for the HDMI ARC extractor there. If you want to use sources of the BSys3 as well as also those from the tv, it gets complicated….especially, if you have to concider that other members of the household might demand ease of use.
My recommendation would be either to use the internal sources of the tv (including e.g. maybe a blu ray player connected there) and the BSys3 only for sound (speaker groups, volume etc) or to use the tv as a dumb screen and the BSys3 for everything (e.g. a Chromecast dongle, PUC-controlled external tuner, AppleTV etc…).
In the first case you prioritize better picture – in the second better sound.
Either way you will have to deal with two remotes.I guess you will have to do some experiments yourself in order to find out, what suits you best.
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkThanks for coming back with your observations.
It can be hard to find the cause of such behaviour.
Normally it should happen in standby, but the MOTS calculations of the new drive could also have an influence there…..that is, if you have MOTS activated.
Maybe it will stop (turning on) after a while?MM
Location: Flensborg————DanmarkDo you use a Beo4 with it?
If yes, try taking that to another room – they some times send commands without your control
Is the Encore located, where the sun shines on it?
