I have a Beosound Core connected to a Beomaster 4400.  The B&O app allows the Beosound Core to join a multi-room session as well as begin a multi-room session using line-in.  All other speakers available in the B&O app can join with the Beosound Core used as a line-in source.  All wireless here.

There is a nice looking pair of S75 on Craigslist – Elmira, NY.  I am not familiar with the speakers or seller FWIW.

Long press on microphone control turned off the orange LEDs.  Not sure if the orange lights indicate microphone paused or not.

As Guy mentioned, purchasing second hand equipment resolved my Beocom 5 connectivity issues with the Beoline 2.   This solution obviously has a limited and dwindling number of current working units to choose from.
I was fortunate enough to come across an original owner selling 2 Beocom 5, a speakerphone charger, a wall/desk charger and a Beoline 2 PSTN.   All arrived in original packaging and like new.  As fabulous as this experience was, I am still left with one working Beoline 2 and no ready solution if any issues arise with the Beoline 2.

Both of the non working Beoline 2 units here will be saved.  Does anyone know if a service manual for Beoline 2 is accessible with membership?

                Thank you

Another plea here for any leads on Beoline 2 repair or replacement.  We recently lost connectivity of Beocom 5 to Beoline 2 (USA version) following a power outage.  This is 2nd Beoline 2 lost similarly.  B&O sales was kind enough to send the base and handset to one of the few shops left who offer limited Beocom repair services.  However, repair shop indicates a NLA PCB is needed for the Beoline 2.

The Beocom 5 was dearly loved by better half here.  We do have a pair of working Beocom 1 (USA) handsets and Beoline 1 PSTN base.  Might our Beoline 1, or another PSTN base be capable of pairing both Beocom 1 and Beocom 5 handsets?

The working Beoline 1 base we have was purchased new from B&O in September 2008 and serviced in July 2015.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions,

Wife and I usually have iPad near us as we move about the house and use those to control radio and/or DNLA music in room(s) of interest.  It was nice to discover that the App on either iPad can modify active play regardless of which iPad started play.  Use of App on iPhone is normally relegated to outdoor use (BS A5) as old timer vision and involuntary finger movement on small screen makes a frustrating experience.

If the Beosound 9000 is mounted flat on a wall, then there should be a plate with hooks mounted to the wall and a plate with openings mounted to the BS9000.  As mentioned above, dismounting the BS9000 from the wall is accomplished by lifting the unit vertically (to clear hooks in wall plate) and then away from the wall (to separate unit plate from wall plate).

Electronic Service Center in Maryland services vintage B&O.  AFAIK all B&O service in the Philadelphia B&O stores are performed there. Shop has been around the DC metro area since the 1970’s.
ESC refreshed our BM4400 and BG4002 earlier this year. Super nice guy and work.  Some of the restoration involved sourcing NLA parts – power switch for the BM and end of disc LED assembly for the BG.

Walls, posts and floors to receive 20-mil poly-reinforced crawl space liner with drainage channel mat below floor liner. Rim joists to be insulated with rigid board.  Crawl space vents to be filled with insulation prior to wall liner application.
We had no idea that insulation had a service life.  House is 40 years old.  We are using a contractor.  Dealing with 2000 sq ft removal of old powdery fiberglass myself?  No thank you!

IMG_0202IMG_020310 years in the crawl space but substantially intact.  Our crawl space is being encapsulated next week which is only reason these were noticed.  Never flooded but the ones appear to be some black specks.  Trash or treasure?

Cardboard box has perished in crawl space storage, but styrofoam from an A9 mk 1 is available if helpful.

We have not experienced network connectivity issues with either A9 mk1 or A9 mk4 in home mesh network (Amplifi), using Airplay or the B&O app.  Is issue joining the A9 to local network, or streaming music to the A9?
