It is a bit tight on a 46″. You will need to remove some plastic on the back panel. Maybe more room on a BV11 55″.
No worries.
Carry the set by lifting holding the sound center and supporting by gently holding upper part for the screen. It’s a two person work.
B&O said on the recent investor presentation that (at least?) one new products’ release has been pushed back into next year. By that I think they meant 2025 (one of the analysts asked for that clarification).
Its a bit confusing that B&O often refer “years” to their financial year, and that as I understood is July 1 – June 30.

It seems that the Beosound Moment has significant issues with music file metadata. This must be specific to Deezer because my Jukebox displays artist and song names as well as cover art when I’m listening to music in my personal DLNA library. After a great deal of to-ing and fro-ing with B&O Support, trying various potential solutions, they decided that my Moment is defective and should be repaired. Yeah, right! I always liked the concept of the Beosound Moment. It looks great and, in principal, it should work – especially given the cost of B&O kit. But B&O discontinued it relatively early for reasons that are unclear to me and, frankly, I don’t believe they have any interest in supporting it anymore.
Im surprised that Support give you that response. Moment rely on metadata that it gets from e.g Deezer and Gracenote. I know that Gracenote provided coverart. The reason it works for the files you have in your DLNA library is probably that you have coverart embedded in those files. For all other metadata that Moment need for e.g Moodwheel and coverart it needs to get that from external sources. Those external sources (like Gracenote) provide that through their API and probably at a cost. Agree that given the cost of the product B&O should have maintained the interfaces to external parties, but clearly they have not. That support says your Moment need to be “repaired” is just stupid.
Beosound Moment is a discontinued product. B&O generally dropped TuneIn in favour of their B&O Radio service, so you will no longer get TuneIn through Moment.
For Deezer, I guess since B&O do not maintain the product any longer, any changes Deezer do in their API will cause problems in Moment. E.g cover art is no longer provided through Gracenote and also other metadata that used to be input to Moments “Mood wheel”.
I had Beosound Moment a few years from its launched and liked it. I was even in the audience when it was launched at CES in Las Vegas, almost exactly 9 years ago. Sad it sold badly, but I guess that way of consuming music only attracted “enthusiasts” and the initial software was crap (but later fixed) 🙂

Think price is around 180 euro.
Never experienced….
Dont think you can fix that. You can buy the “electronics part” of the remote as a separate item from B&O. Then you can keep the metal part.
I just did some tests, and now everything works as expected, playing Airplay to a speaker and extending to my BV11. Have not made any changes.
Not sure what caused the initial problems, but all good now.
Noticed just now that you wrote “connected”. Its not possible with physical connection. BS1 has no Line in / Out.
You are able to use them simultaneous, using Beolink. Meaning you start the source on e,g Beosound 1 and then add Stage to that play (ideally using the B&O app). They will play in sync.
Both need to be on the same network.
(I assume your Beosound 1 is the conic aluminium speaker 🙂
Thanks MM.
The initial (and quite quick) reply from Support was some suggestions for trouble shooting.
So from that my conclusion is that the feature is still there.
This is the reply from Support that mentioned Airplay over multiroom:
“Thank you for your patience while we work on your case. We’ll be happy to provide an update.
We have checked with out technical team regarding your issue and they stated the network delay setting seems to be out of spec.
They have provided the following instructions:
Choose one of the products in the B&O app.
Choose settings > configure > settings > beolink > sound synchronization
Set wired to 200ms and wireless to 1000ms and try with these settings first
If still dropouts change the wireless delay to 1500 or more.
*If enabled the option “activate multiroom for airplay” then please disable as this is not used anymore since airplay 2 was introduced.”Not sure what they mean with “not used anymore”
Hmmm… I have to do some additional testing in my setup.
I have also sent an email to B&O support.
Moment has native Airplay support, right?
Glad to help.
I have set the powersaving so that the TV have quickstart everyday between 6am and midnight.
Then the B&O Logo is not showing and the TV starts much quicker. May be that is the reason to why you have the long startup and no “curtain”.
Check out the manual here for options.
Yes. HDMI 1.
I have done a videoclip showing the startup that you can watch hereI have programmed one of the “My Buttons” to startup the AppleTV source.
My ATV is 4K version (model 1842) first gen.
This might be a good advice for a ‘non HDR compatiple’ tv like the BV11.
However, those with a modern 4K (LG) tv should always leave ‘Match Dynamic Range’ ‘On’ in order to ensure the automatic switching between ‘non-HDR’ and ‘HDR’ content.
MM
Absolutely.
My advice clearly relate to a Beovision 11.Check the setting you have in the AppleTV.
Go to Settings > Video and Audio > Match Content > Match Dynamic RangeHere I have the setting “No”.
Having “yes” may add the delay you have.My ATV is set to be always on. I guess if you have the ATV set to power off each time, the curtain will open prior to the ATV and you will not see that effect.
0 second blank delay.
