An observation with the quote function.

Before the forum was updated it was possible to mark part of a post and press quote and only that part would be inserted in the new post.

Now when you press quote the entire post is quoted which is less optimal if you are trying to answer more than one thing from the original post, or if the original post is a long one

It would be great if it is possible to restore this functionality at some point

      Thanks in advance

            Hi,

I miss the blue theme here. Am I the only one?

The forum remains impossibly sluggish. Any clues?

There is an external company investigating this at the moment, I had a call with them this morning and since it has been even slower.
We are hoping for a speedy resolution to this.

                  Hi,

                  Still desperately sluggish I’m afraid.
                  What’s going on? 🤔

Although STL files are accepted on BeoWorld, there was a file size limit of 8MB.
I assume this is why there have been issues uploading STL files as they are generally larger.

I have set the maximum to be 31MB, if it does need to be increased then let me know.

                        Hi,

It takes 4 seconds now to access Beoworld, and between pages. Better, but nowhere near as instantaneous, as it should be.

Edit: clicking edit just now took me 7 seconds before I could write anything.

Edit 2: and ten more seconds after I clicked submit.

Thanks, I can find it now with the search funtion. But it looks like some of the most recent posts in the thread is missing, and therefor the direct link from before is not working anymore

                                The link wont work.

it is on beoworld.org rather than forum.beoworld.org, it is from an old test part of the site which should not have been accessible.

                                          Dear Multicare,

(btw, yes, performance is good now, many thanks!)

I hope I may adress two things. I am working with many software stuff, knowing that it is often not easy to solve, but I think it is good to adress „issues“.

(all noticed using an old Iphone SE 2nd(2020) but with most recent ios, using safari)

So, first I noticed that the „sticky“ headers behave strange. Later I realised, it is even different if logged in or not:

                                          a) not logged in: the header gets small but sticks on the left site of the screen, merging with the content.

(i hope i can upload the screen shots in correct order)

                                            ok, that worked (upload) 🙂

then, b) logged in, it looks like this, it sticks to the top, but is rather big.

I personally think it would be good to have a not so huge header
