MillemisGOLD Member1. You should use that option, yes.
2. Not 100% sure, haven’t tested that – but I’d say, yes it switches on with the incoming signal.
3. (If I understand your question right) sure, that is how it is supposed to work – but you will need an adapter PL/RJ45 to PL/DIN.MM

MillemisGOLD MemberI’d ask my dealer anyway.
This is not supposed to be so, even after garantie.
How old is it – has you had any fluid spilled on it or so?Also, you could buy a new insert/inlay and reuse the housing, if you don’t have success with glue.

MillemisGOLD MemberI’d put the BV5 in Option 2 and the 3200 in Option 0 – all speakers connected to the tv…..means an integrated setup.
(Move the Airport Express to the 3200).
The BS4 should then be in Option 6 (= act as a link product) – you can only have one Audiomaster respectively one Videomaster in a setup.Even if you would want to make changes in that room, it should be worth it to try that out before.

MillemisGOLD MemberThe BS3000 should support Option 6.
Read about that here on page 9:
https://bangolufsenassistentgohe.blob.core.windows.net/manuals/SOUND_SYSTEMS/BEOSOUND_3000/BS3000_RB_EN.pdf
N.B. Reading your plan, the 3000 does not seem to be masterlinked! Some of the linkroom devices might not support (and respond to) the A.Aux command – this depends on the SW version.
Why would you want to get rid of the audiomaster/the BS4?
Adding a NL/ML Converter brings the additional sources from a NL device (which you would also need).
These can be played via the BS4.How are your BV’s option programmed – the BV5?
You can not upgrade the BV5 – best buy a BV10 (be sure to have this updated with the PUC’s for the devices, you want to add, before you install it).
You might also get the BV11, if you are serious about installing the NL/ML Converter.N.B.
You are very lucky to have a plan of the setup!
Many B&O setups in old houses are not or not well documented…….which makes it very difficult to give advice.P.S.
If you want to know more about, how a NL/ML Converter works/the different setups etc, have a look here:https://cdn.webshopapp.com/shops/98396/files/334286248/beolink-converter-nlml-ver-14-beomac.pdf

MillemisGOLD MemberI would look for a later software version (or latest SW, like Carolpa’s) if I was looking for a BS3000, rather than worrying about clamper size. Obviously the earlier ‘small clamper’ versions are more likely to have earlier software, unless they have been updated. If you search BS3000 on UK eBay they often show photos of the labels so you can get a good idea of Type Numbers, SW versions and clamper size.
I bought it then for two reasons 1) option 5 & 6 available and 2) N.Music & N.Radio accessible. ter info: now it is integrated in NL through a BLC.
That is what I would buy…..if I needed yet another ML audiomaster ?

MillemisGOLD MemberThe version mentioned on the B&O website is from last year and probably the initial one.
Software 2.3.4.15123 – Release date 21st November 2022
I guess the time is due for ‘some bug/stability fixes’!I wonder if what you/Sandyb got, is the same as what is called ‘beta’ by now.

MillemisGOLD MemberThere is a Theatre software update today. Just installed my update, was pretty quick in case anyone hadn’t seen the release
Nothing here….yet.
Which version is it – any release notes?MM

MillemisGOLD MemberWiSA connection can be challenging in an environment with lots of wifi networks.
I would change to wiring with proper Powerlink cables.
Start with the fronts/18’s and see, if that changes things.MM

MillemisGOLD MemberIt says ‘out of stock’ because it is a product that has not been finished yest…..it still is being developed.
I am looking forward to get one of them, once they are available.
I had the opportunity to visit the Neomester a while ago for a demonstration of his products – and am pretty sure that the Neo Radio will be a great as an add-on for older B&O products.MM

MillemisGOLD MemberYes, the Airport Express is a good starting point (if you can get one).
Since you asked for internet radio….there are several apps providing lots of netradio station – one of these is TuneIN.
Also most radio stations have their own netradio app.MM

MillemisGOLD MemberHi Joost and welcome here.
Costs – that is relative, as you know.
You probably have the two masterlinked!
The 9000 has an A.aux-in, where you can connect basicly anything, that produces sound…..from a iPhone, another smartphone, a bluetooth device, an Airplay device, a Chromecast dongle (there are many small devices with several options built-in), a B&O compatible device like those that OneRemote make or even a Core.
However, you will not have the ease of controlling/changing stations like you are/were used to with the 9000 radio part.So it depends on, what you want to spend and on what you need – do you have a smartphone (could even be an older one) and are you willing to use that etc etc?

MillemisGOLD MemberExactly my thoughts too.
A BV11 definitely has the Mini-A/V port as shown……there is no other way to connect an analog source than this. Please tell us more about your actual BV model.
Your picture seems to show the connection panel of the BV Eclipse
In that case just use the method that Guy referred too.P.S.
Netlink is here not involved – that would be another method (which would include two Beolink Converters), that probably is way too complicated for your purpose.
A simple connection cable and some fiddling with the volume setting etc is all you need.MM

MillemisGOLD MemberThe ‘Steve cable/solution’ uses the Powerlink output to get the sound out of the audiosystem.
This might work with the Aux as well – however I am not 100% sure that the Aux port on the 2300 is output as well as input (this can be easily tested…….with the right cable).

MillemisGOLD MemberYes, but my point here is about using other speakers to improve the sound coming from a different speaker.
I think Geoff mention something like this in the past for B&O, but Dirac launched it first?
This principle is not new, not an invention of B&O.
However, they were the first to implement this in a speaker concept (the BL90).
Now this has become a part of the Theatre setup concept too – along with the other advantages that Mr10% summerized above.I am pretty sure that B&O had opted for Dirac, if that was better – if that could be the solution, that they need/wanted to offer.
Obviously it isn’t!MM

12 January 2023 at 17:17 in reply to: Wanted! Guide for setting up and controlling Light with the Beoremote One/BT. #40240 MillemisGOLD MemberI do wonder if the LG’s home control could be added to the Theatre’s list on the Beoremote 1. Just trying to help a bit.
Don’t get me wrong – I do appreciate that!
I was just trying to explain my reasons for not knowing (or maybe not wanting to know) what LG Home Control is about.Apart from this it might be a solution for someone else reading here.
P.S.
If that could be added to the BROne, it might be interesting, though.
So I am looking forward to your findings.MM

No – I hardly notice anything LG, when I use my Theatre setup.
My sources (which are connected to the Theatre) are my ATV, my bluray player, a Chromecast Ultra dongle (all devices that I had and used with the previous Avant 1st gen) and occasionally the internat tuner of the C2.
And of course the usual Beolinked audio.I am comfortable with the apps of the ATV – it integrates well with my other ATV’s and my MacOS/iOS devices – I had/have no intention getting lost in the WebOS jungle. I never see that for my daily use.
BUT – I will have a look at that anyway………curious as I am ?
Untill maybe some day the Beoremote can take over from my new Hue-based solution, I and the wife are fine.

MillemisGOLD MemberIf you have video source/tv in between or just want to have a funtioning stereo imaging from where you sit, the speakers should not be too far apart.
The further they are apart the harder it will be to find a sweet spot for listening.
If you have a video source/tv a center channel will help.MM
