How much I wish it was the same thing to remotely control or even just monitor iTunes from a mac to another…
Location: Paris FranceModeratorMore likely a “close to death” stylus…
Location: Paris FranceModeratorI like that kind of “attention to details”!
If it may be of any help, here you have the round and rounded square versions of the logo: it may help make it blend a little more…
(They look the same here because of the white background, but they are round and rounded square!)
Location: Paris FranceModeratorHi and welcome to Beoworld,
Do you have sound from the headphone socket?
Do you have sound from the radio?
Location: Paris FranceModeratorI think that the Beolab 50 is one of the best styled speakers that B&O has ever made.
I think nothing can compete with the visual refinement of the Beolab 18 or in a different way, the non-speaker neo-retro-futuristic look of the Beolab 5.
The Beolab 90 has for it the eye-catching, mind-wondering look but it cannot be called “beautiful” in my opinion. The Beolab 50 looks more like a Dyson X Brabantia air conditionner even if I would gladely welcome a pair in my living-room (thing I wouldn’t do with the 28)…

It’s all Elon Musk’s fault! #59189ModeratorThat is why I try to avoid “as much as I can” to rely on a third party provider of any kind: sonner or later business deals and stock market arrangement may left you on the side of the road because of any promised compatibility that is no longer on the agenda of the company.
Nothing more safe and efficient than a local storage full of files and Millemissen* as an algorythm to advice you on new content throught the “What are you listening right now” thread.
*Friendly and respectfull joke.
Location: Paris France17 September 2024 at 18:48 in reply to: BeoLab 8000 woofer scratching noise: can it be solved? #59164ModeratorI don’t have a spotify account so I’m unable to provide any link.
The first seconds of the first track of the album Re:member from Olafur Arnalds.
Also the very first note from the track First light from the album First light from Jonsi.
Both make the woofer vibrate.
Location: Paris France14 September 2024 at 09:53 in reply to: BeoLab 8000 woofer scratching noise: can it be solved? #59069ModeratorHi Alls,
I joined the discussion since I share the same issue than KolfMAKER. Maybe I’ve already talked about that somewhere but in a nutshell my solution was to stick à little piece of soft foam between the fret and the surround of the scratching speaker. It must be a sacrilege but since I never listen very loud it did work to me for a while.
Now If there is any solution that do not involve tearing appart the woofer, I would be happy to hear it.
Today I noticed something that may help maybe: I dont need heavy level to make it happend. It will be very noticeable at low level in piano parts, like in some pieces of Olafur Arnalds. It is more like a vibration like if something was flapping on the cone but I’m not very good a describing that kind of noise.
Hope this helps.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorBreaking News (like if my last post brought me bad luck)…
The remote does’nt even last few hours nor even minutes. I used it today in Apple TV mode and after few clics both went dead.
I suspect this being related to the aTV IR command but I dont know how to tell for sure.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorA little feedback on the CS batteries,
They are still running fine but they discharge a lot faster than in the first weeks of use.
To the point that I need to have two Beo6: one on the table the other on the charging dock. Average swapping is two days.I’ve also noticed that it never charge at full: on the Beo6 red battery indicator there is always one or two millimeters black even though the remote sits on its craddle for days.
For the record all Beo6 are full of third party IR codes (Samsung & Apple) and all screens use full screen images.
Nevertheless, those batteries are still the better option to date.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorAnother flat fallen joke: I did’nt see the attachment and your message only reminds me the scene in “Le Mans 66” when Ken Miles advices Leo Bebee from Ford about how to improve the Mustang…
Location: Paris FranceModeratorWith regard to the sports vehicle I recommend this. Better aerodynamics, more impressive, more sportive (24 hr world record 1,250 km exactly this type), price only 7 to 8 H 100.
[…] And you would still buy a Chevy Chevelle, and it’s a F* terrible car?
Location: Paris FranceModeratorIs that a Lar-Bang-ini A1 in Moss Green color behind you?
Location: Paris FranceModeratorI must say that as an auto-sense line-in device connected to powered speakers, it worked 100% absolutely perfectly.
Then you are both lucky. Mine is a little bit “temperamental”. Appart from the issue described above (needed to turn off Auto Airplay Connect on all the phones from the house but not sure yet it solved the problem…) it also not always revert to airplay after playing a record (meaning auto-sensing the analog input).
Location: Paris FranceModeratorI found these in my downloads, not sure who is the author. Maybe it will help some of you. *Edit: I uploaded it to Makerworld.
Now it’s done but the least would have been to ask permission to do that.
If I’ve decided to make them available to Beoworld only and not on any random STL files platform, its for a good reason: Beoworld gives and you give back to Beoworld.
If you take time to read the full thread you’ll know that those clamps have been stolen again an again and even to be shamelessly put on sales.
First it’s a steal and a scam and second, it takes trafic away from Beoworld that needs people to come here for clamps and start a new passion that will feed the forum and then all of us.Anyway, if you’re sensitive to all of that, please remove your upload. Me as moderator will delete your link since the files are now again available on the first post.
Regards.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorThank you.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorHi everybody,
The STL files were available to download to everyone free. The change of platform for the forum, I beleive, has broken some links or made unavailable attachments, thats why you can not see the stl files that use to be there.
In the meantime, I’ve seen the clamps I designed, available for sale everywhere even to the point they give the Ikea-like guide I’ve also designed.
The ownership of the clamps may be questionnable (anybody trying to made his own clamps will inevitably end with that design…) but the instruction diagram is clearly a steal. All that being said, I just can’t answer each individual request and send the STL’s by mail.
And this without saying that some request are at least “dry” and sometimes even rude.So I’ll check with Multicare if the attachent feature is off or if I just need to reupload the files, but until then you all just gonna have to wait or, if you’re in a hurry, buy them to a fellow that did download them for free some month ago.
Sorry if I’m bitter, and sorry you all, nice people, have to undergo the consequences.

Location: Paris FranceModeratorI must say I am glad/surprised to hear Millemisen has had it be reliable.
I’ve read a lot about the unreliability of the B&O wireless connection.
My Playmaker is wired because just near a router so I can’t really testify. But I4va also a Beolit 12 that to my knowledge share the same guts than the playmaker and it as prove to be quite good and consistent.
Location: Paris FranceModeratorI just connected a 1611 to a Beolab 3500, and the clock did not show up, so I guess it might have been with the Beolink PC2 you registred that.
Totally make sense. I should have confused both experiences.
