ModeratorYes. Just plug it in.
If the Beogram 2404 has 7 pins in the DIN plug, you must unscrew the outer two using a small flat-bladed (watch-makers) screwdriver, or the Beomaster socket will not accept it.
The two pins are for datalink communication, which is not supported by Beomaster 1900.Martin

ModeratorA bad main CPU can also cause the remote to not work. I have replaced several with bad IR inputs.

ModeratorContact Danish Sound Parts.
I hardly ever use the message system here. But the washers are usually not the root cause. It’s the sliding plastic coupler – something that is being worked on every now and then.
It’s a fantastic and unique receiver, but a goofy construction.Martin

ModeratorSomewhere wrong with the motor circuit apparently. Perhaps missing feedback from the motor?
Did you check the speed setting trimmers?Martin

ModeratorYou need to take off the whole rear piece with the hinges etc.
Then you remove the two small plastic covers under the lid to reveal the screws.
Ask at Danish Sound Parts if you need a replacement cover, they may very well have a good used one in stock.Martin

ModeratorWill the motor rotate easily by hand?
