hi! you must also configure the speakers in cinema mode. (roll, distance, volume, etc.) so switch to cinema mode (format 0) and go to the bv9 (bs3) menu on the cinema screen.

Hi
sorry I think we’re talking past each other. 🙂I’m talking about the problem of kiran posting #1.
yes, all nl-sources are in the bli. and all ml -ources in the blgw. i have no macros in the blgw!
The problem is that sometimes I have the home control overlay from the bli and sometimes the empty! home control overlay from the blgw on the bv11.beoandy
hi chucky!
the connection between the blgw and the bli is clear to me and not the problem. The problem isn’t the connection, the problem is that the home control overlay is then “output twice”. for e.g. the BV11 or avant. the BV11 does not store the source (bli) and use sometime the home control overlay from the blgw. (which ist empty)
the hone control overlay cannot be deactivated in the blgw settings.
hi kiran,
have you already found a solution? I have the same problem with the bli in connection with a blgw. I now use a mlgw and no blgw for exactly this reason. (the mlgw has no HomeControl overlay) – in the beovision you can select the source for the integration (bli) but this sometimes changes automatically to the blgw. (It would be ideal if you could deactivate the HomeControl overlay on the blgw – but unfortunately this is not possible)beoandy
hi
you can use this earc extractor FeinTech VAX01202. I use this with the beosystem 4 and an LG-G1. the output from the extractor sends a black picture with the sound to the hdmi input of the beosystem 4. so you can get the sound of the sources from the LG TV and the sources connected to it into the beosystem 4. disadvantage: no menu overlay from the beosystem 4 on the tv.
I think you can also use this extractor as a splitter. unfortunately I have no experience with that. my setup runs hd only (all sources connected to the beosystem) and for 4K (only for films) via the extractor and an apple tv directly on the LG-G1 and then the sound via the beosystem4.
the respective switching then makes a beoliving intelligence and the apple tv is then controlled via the puc-ir codes from the beosystem 4.beoandy
I also think the behavior of the join command (beo4 and BLI/BLGW) has changed with 2.1.50867.
before 2.1.50867 you could join a running source from the link-room, and if there was none running, the last selected local source was played.
after 2.1.50867, the last selected local source is not played (if no source is playing in the link- room). – you can´t start the system with the beo4 join command without a running link-source.
