My Theatre is on 2.3.4.15129. The complete number is found in the Set Up Overview under Support, and then select the Theatre.
I will check the version when I get home. I believe it is 2.3.4, however, there is one screen in the app, might be the “about” screen that gives a fuller version number …i.e. 2.3.4xxxxxx
Thanks! I do not have a BLI but have been considering one for a long time. I am not sure I would get much benefit out of it which is what has held me back from getting one.
Also, when the Theatre fails to turn on the TV screen, you can program a button on the Halo to do this.
When you say can program I assume you mean with a BLI as opposed to a stand alone Halo?
Thanks!
Unfortunately problem also
occurs with MyButton.
Thanks for the suggestion !It is a Dish DVR. The box does turn on as does the G2 but the image and audio do not begin. Sometimes the screen indicates no signal. If I turn on another source such as Apple TV, Netflix etc image and audio immediately begin. If I then press satellite it also begins immediately.
Separate satellite box. Connected to Theatre. PUC control.
It is a very weird problem. It is a G2 panel. The problem only occurs when wanting to turn on satellite. It is not present with any other sources, the sources built in to the G2 turn on promptly. Sometimes when turning it on, the audio comes on briefly, then stops, then the audio and picture both come on.
I still have a problem with the LG not turning on if I select satellite and it has been off for a long time. Other sources start immediately and then can start satellite. Also, hoping for Receiver 1 support. I read elsewhere online that an update to the app is coming soon that resolve the Receiver 1 issue.
Multiple presses of a button on the BR1, such as skipping through channels, or fast forward or rewind of a dvr’d program would cause the Theatre to disconnect from the screen, screen would go blank other than a message saying it had disconnected, screen would then come back on, say it had reconnected, but might switch sources and change volume level.
Received a software update today to my Theatre. Initial impressions are the previous problems have been solved.
Thanks for letting me know! I had second thoughts about the 19 before seeing this and told dealer to hold off on shipping the 19. Now I am doubly glad I did. I cancelled because I don’t know that I have a suitable place in the room for it.
I received another email today from BeoCare indicating that they are aware of the problem and developers are working on a fix.
Have a 19 on it’s way from dealer to try out. Am very curious to see if I like the sound better with or without it.
How do I enable B and O mode? App shows connected and I do not see an option to specifically enable it.
Tried Quick Start. It did not solve the problem. Thanks for suggesting it. I am not sure how I had missed that setting.
I will check this when I get home.
I did receive a follow up email today from BeoCare that indicating they are aware of such problems and are working on it.I will check this later, thanks! I do not recall seeing this setting. I do have an “always ready” setting that can be used with or without wallpaper. When I turn it on, the Theatre does seem to turn on a bit quicker. However, sometimes a short time after turning the Theatre off, it will turn back on by itself.
Thank you so much for the response! I remember reading on your blog about bass where you had the drawing of the ridiculously long speaker. I needed a reminder however.
And thank you for the AMAZING work on the Theatre. I have had a BV7 with 1s, then 9s, then 20s, then 50s, and then 28s as fronts. (I know, weird to go from 50s to 28s lol) The BV7 has now been replaced with a Theatre. The sound, both for movies, and for music from just the 28s but driven by the Theatre is absolutely stunning! The sound is so staggeringly good, I am scared to tamper with it by adding a 19 lol. So again thanks for the extraordinary result you have produced with the Theatre.I am having similar problems. Sometimes it takes a long time for the LG to turn on and the screen displays a message that it is not connected. Also sometimes sound comes on but no picture. And, sometimes when act rolling through channels or ffwd or rwd a recorded program the screen will become non responsive to the BR1, then go blank and say Theatre has disconnected, then screen comes back and says reconnected. I have sent logs to BeoCare and videos of how the TV acts. They say they are working on it and will get back to me.
