I saw and was explained the Neo Radio, when it was almost finished for selling a couple of years ago.

(Since my setup now is pure NetworkLink-based, I have no need for it personally….it is a cool product, though).

I do not quite understand, what you mean by ‘90 ghz it requires’.
There is an extensive guide on the Neomesteren website.

In short it offers netradio stations, which can be modulated onto the FM band of a Beomaster.
You can store quite a few (depending on the Beomaster, you have) stations just like you would do with oldfashioned FM stations.
Herafter you just start Radio and the number.
If you have a Masterlink setup, these stations can be distributed just like previously with old FM stations.

If you do not find a solution on the website, I’d advice you to write the guys at Beomesteren – the owner/founder is a nice guy.

This however assumes, that there is a useable Humax entry in the PUC list of the BV7.
Otherweise that has to be loaded into the tv by a B&O technician.
Same goes for any other external box.

It would help if we could mark the HDMI input as Audio only in the Theatre settings to avoid this.

……….and how would you then navigate to the Apple Music app on the ATV ?

Hi J and welcome to the forum

I assume that you want to use the Beoremote One!

I do not know the Sky Q Box – but from reading about the box, it should have an ir receiver.
So it should be possible to connect an ir blaster there and use the B&O PUC solution instead of relying on CEC controlling.
You must connect the box to one of the HDMI ports on the BST and the PUC cable there too.

Ich denke, daß die Lösung ist in dem Thread so ziemlich beschrieben.

Und ich denke, daß du ruhig Lee vertrauen kannst, wenn er schreibt:
Absolute pain, I know – but I take all my Android TV’s to my local Service Center to have them updated before sale.
    Lee

    ist aber veraltet.

    @Mjoelnir
You could – maybe – hope and wish for a new speaker in the BL18 range.
I can not imagine, that they would ‘upgrade the BL18 to WLAN’.

    N.B.
And in that case you would not need a BCC.

I dont think the new Core allows the BR1 usage / integration that you get with a Stage/Theatre + LG.

Miki should be able to answer that question in the next Beotalk episode.
After all he has and has had the BCC for a while now.

    Thanks!

On every priviously BV there was a P.Mute (picture mute) option in the remote.
This has been missed by some of us and has been reported to B&O as a wish for…
However those of us, who might benefit from this function, are obviously too few for them to get into action.

I have had a workaround for this for a while, that I can live with.

The link to the Reddit page mostly present solutions for those who use the Magic Remote – not for us with a BROne.

However one suggestion can be used:

    IMG_0894

Going into the Settings and doing this should not be a problem with the BROne.

This means – translated to the BROne – that you must find this entry in the List:

    IMG_0893

Sorry for the danish language – I am sure you will find it ?

On the screen it then looks like this (please note, that I have deleted all other  entries there….I do not need those.

    IMG_0891

Pushing ‘Skærm fra’/Picture off does the job ?

A couple of actions, yes – but it does the job……untill maybe someday B&O might reintroduce P.Mute again as an entry in the List of the remote.

    Hope that helps.

    Note!
This is a general solution of the LG tv, that works for any source, be it internal or external.
My LG version is a C2.

Since an AppleTV or a Blu Ray player etc all are video sources the tv/the screen will per default turn on.

Before I get into trying to find a solution, first please tell me which tv you are using.

I am afraid that I’ll have to disappoint you….
    …..this will not be possible!
There is no way to “wake up” or control the 3200, other than via the control panel of the 3200 or with a B&O remote.

Personally – if someone is only interested in having a stereo setup – I’d go for a BL3/Core combination.
    That will always work!
And I’d add a Beoremote ONE/BT in order to have easy remote control.

    Hi KathleenC1

Unfortunately B&O has choosen the name of a previous product (your BS1) for a newer product.
This – newer – product has now been discontinued….that is what this thread is about.

Your BS1 was discontinued in 2011, but there are still many of those in use.
So, to answer your question – yes, you can connect ‘an iPod or iPod’.
In fact you can connect anything that has an audio output there….a mobile phone, a bluetooth adapter etc etc.

Please have a look here page 4.

You will need an adapter cable from 5 pin DIN to e.g. minijack.

Seems a cool idea – definitely worth trying out.

I guess that the line out is at fixed volume, since it was used for a connection to a tv (integrated setup), where the volume is controlled.
The line-in of the converter has auto sense, if I remember correctly.

Looking forward to hear about your findings.

As far as I remember only the very first version of the BV11 had this connection panel.

A cool thing, but maybe not that practical, when it comes to cable management.

    Hi Bax24

    Congrats on ‘your new’ tv.

It is definitely a hotel version of the BV10.
This means that it has a modified sw – if and how this can be changed to the regular sw, I will let others advice on….just wait and watch if other users here can comment.

Meanwhile you can try, if you can access the main menu of the tv (use the Menu button for that) – let us know if and how that looks on the screen!

Generally you must – with a BV – assign the (HDMI) input, that you are using, to a specific source button on the remote in the settings menu for easy access.
However this might be impossible with the remote that you have.
If you can get hold on another regular remote version – either a Beoremote One or (even better) one of the newer Beo4 versions – it might be easier to do.
In any case – if the sw can be changed – you will need one of those.

    N.B.
Do not sell or throw away the one you already have, it might be a collectors item.

You can find the guides for the regular/original versions of the BV10 here

Good afternoon! What is the difference between CEC and PUC? How is PUC control implemented? CEC, as far as I know, is implemented programmatically in HDMI, starting with version 1.4 (ARC), including the latest modification of eARC in version HDMI 2.1. What is needed to connect via PUC?

PUC is a method invented by Bang & Olufsen to control external devices, that are connected to a Bang & Olufsen tv (solution), with a B&O remote.
    Read about it here

The origins of PUC goes back to the  90’ies and was previous called STB controlling.
    Read about that here

Apart from the signal cable – nowadays the HDMI connection – you will need an ir-blaster attached to the external device and connected to the ir-connection port on the BV (or most recent to the Beosound Theatre).

You can see a video about PUC here – in this example you see the BV11.

In the ‘old days’ the needed codes had to be loaded via cable to the BV’s from a B&O technician – since modern BV’s are online, these codes can be downloaded directly from a B&O server and installed.

    In addition.

For those who do not understand the danish answer from Sussi….

…..this is only in case you have relied on CEC for controlling.
Those who have control via PUC haven’t got this problem.
