GOLD MemberJealousy…
understandably judging by the prices on used B&O you have mentioned in other posts 🙂
As for the BC5000 it is completly dead,
Nothing B&O is ever “completly dead”, maybe the Beosound 3 and still, not always. Correct your post unless I will have to moderate it!
Let’s call it dead on arrival then 😉

GOLD MemberThe Playmaker is working 🙂 It is missing the stand though. Could someone measure the dimension of the stand material and the lenghts of the standing and lying part? Then I think I can bend something out of steel wire. Thanks in advance

GOLD Member14 August 2024 at 21:08 #58287BRONZE MemberLatest, incredibly heavy, addition to the collection! I’ve always wanted a Beocord 4000 Video since first seeing one in the ‘From Vision to Legend’ book. And lovely to have the circuit diagram too 😀
Just need the camera and some B&O 1/2 inch video tape now!

Will soon be playing in my office for background radio music (streaming via AUX).

What SW version is it? 2.X with the built in clock? CD player working? (one of mine is intermittent – plays fine once it warms up!)

Thanks Guy! It is SW 1.3, so a bit older. And yes all works very well, apart from maybe a very clear FM signal and some of the red dots being a bit tired. Silver is very nice too I think, and wasn’t there an ice-blue one too? Regards, Johan

It must have been rarely used: the texture of the back cover feels really new, and the white texts on the buttons is really white still. I put a new battery in it and it works fine.
Happy with it!

yeah the Beocom 6000 is a wonderfull landline phone. I had one as my primary phone for several years, but in the end it was not used anymore and was given away to another forum member.
Got two again recently that was part of a larger LOT of B&O. They are just placed as art pieces in my Beocave, but I might get to utilising the built in volume control

This one has an interesting back story – the set belonged to an old lady who passed away in 2019, but who’s son was a music technician for Suzanne Vega and also the New York Dolls!
