Well done all !
Are the wings opening ?
Great, but what time so I do not miss it ?
If there are any B&O repair places in Oz, you could just post the amplifiers to them and then focus on the individual speakers after.
I would go for BC2, I think its a class B&O product. They are not expensive now and I think well built.
My bad ! I forgot to explain that the photo in my last post is a photo of my serial/edition number of my white 9000.
I finally got back to my BS9000 and 35 c- hot !
I can explain your numbers. Look at the photo The first two sets of numbers are identical, so it was a coincidence that you had 19 and 18.
Hope this helps you sleep better 🙂
Looks great Steve, I will try include a visit on my next beer run to Germany.
29 July 2024 at 16:17 in reply to: BeoSound 9000 Mk2 Continued CD issues after laser replacement (2x) #57775Hi Chris , your BS 9000 looks like mine did before it needed a new laser. I dropped mine into a repair place in Nice which I had not used before earlier this year. The first thing the guy said was “ah my old friend” when he saw the box. Places that do repair these are very familiar with them. I have no suggestions as to why two replacement lasers would not work.
What country are you in ?
Hopefully this thread will encourage others to fix their BC2s while replacement parts still exist.
… And people still have land lines
I would go for BS 9000 or a BC 2 , both classics. Try get a refurbished one. I had a BS4 and I never liked it.
Nice work Guy, I have a few of these waiting for a winter project.
I have a white 9000 so I will check these numbers but it will be at least a month before I see it again .
Ola gringo, good to see you back Soren.
Eddie
Keith, I am curious how long ago was it since I joined ?
Nice one Steve
I think I will reserve judgement until I see it.
Good to get the forum back.
I also was getting a lot of 404 messages despite being logged in. This is my first sucessfull connection.
The battery tray is a very “snug” fit. I find when reloading the tray that it can resist it but by rotating a little and reloading it slides in.
I would not tap it against any thing hard. Perhaps try putting it in a warm place (not hot) for a few hours would help.
I have no idea of the current price of these Tvs but I think they have a stunning picture.
If i had the space I would have one by now.
