Finally got the new firmware after return from holiday. Battery life has improved A LOT !!! Wifi stability testing in progress……

Any clear improvements?

my Halo on the older firmware looses wifi-connection about every 2-3 days. Only solution is rebooting the Halo , wifi router AND the devices the Halo is controlling. It’s beyond annoying.

So it seems I’m not the only one unable to get it. Weird. And support doesn’t have a clue either yet, if the reason would be a (regional) phased rollout they probably would have know that?

Anyone installed the latest Halo firmware already? Mine doesn’t fetch it, contacted support and they haven’t figured out yet what is happening until now.

One of the biggest mistake ever is they choose to NOT release the gorgeous and super functional essence wheely in all the prototyped colours. They could have sold millions.
Only plain boring silver instead, such a huge mistake.
I am not sure same could be said about BS1 and BS2 but for sure some of the colours from your picture never made it to the dealers.

I use one with my stereo paired Level. It works absolutely flawless and just need track skip and volume control. Before I used an Halo but every now and then the Halo lost connection to the network and required multiple resets from both Halo and the Level before working again. Until other Halo firmware is released I gave up on that one.

On the B&O site there is a list somewhere with supported products, that list is quit long. It even works on older products in IR mode. And I have tested with Beoplay A8 and that worked really well to!
