    dear

Okay, to finish up my own thread 🙂 my conclusion is now that there did not exist a proper connection between aluminium part and amplifier despite being screwed together. I noticed that the screws are some kind of black CED coated, and by working the screws back and forth several times the hum disappeared and the speaker now works as it should.

it seems that I have the same issue.

Did you mean bolts which are connecting aluminum heatsink (black one) to the main “box” or bolts which are connected amp itself to the aluminium heatsink?

    Hi Ravsted, great job!

May you share some more pictures how did you remove the Glass and Panel ?

Is it possible to leave all audio part in working condition with a new screen? A bit more detailed process expalantion as you’ve done for your previous(brilliant!) project.

I own Beovision 7-55, and it might be a great potential upgrade for OLED=)

Dear Keith, may I ask you a stupid question: what is the difference (in functionality?) between BeoCom 2 Basic and BeoCom 2 System?

What version do you have? Are you interested in selling it?

Thanks a lot for your support! Just called to  B&O support – it is MK1.

So for any one who might be interested – 0952 is also MK1 =)

    Thanks Guy!

As there is no related TYPE number in the chart above, do you know how to understand if it is MK1, MK2 or US?

Hi Hiort, yes it is possible to remove buttons. you need to put something flat(corner of credit card for example) below the button and just push it upwards – from the bottom of the phone in to the direction of the screen. And it will click off. The same other way round to put it back.

Hope, I explained it understandable way =)
