Thanks a lot for all Your inputs 🙏. In my humble opinion the danish secondhand market for especially the Beogram 4000-series, after the entry of re-created classics, has exploded and private sellers are trying to ride on that wave of renaissance and popularity. Here you find items from around €1.000 till €2.500 for the most restored pieces.

The 4002 offered to me was around €2.500. When spending that amount of money on a turntable that I in all probability not will be using much made me consider the investment side of it.

With all that said, I still love the looks and design of the 50 year old Beogram 4000-series. If buying a piece it will more likely be a piece of historic Danish design than a turntable that will be used daily.

I have the Eversolo Play streamer attached to a Besound Core and the Core to a pair of Beolab 9’s. Works great. Apart from Streaming to my Beolab 9’s, I can also stream to my other B&O multiroom speakers in my apartment.

I am powering the usb trigger from a normal powersocket. Could that be the mistake instead of powering it from the TV?

Thanks Yann. That maybe sums it up. Have You tried a powerlink cable to the BL50’s through the digital powerlink output. I read somewhere that it was made for e.g. the BL 50’s.

But the question was not so much how, but which speakers to buy to get the immersive sound.

Thanks for Your insight. I had thought about the Y-split cable. But my concerns seem to be the same as Yours. I can adjust the volume on my 7-2 using my Apple Remote.
But what do You guess will happen when also connecting a 7-4? Furthermore does the 7-4 need a trigger cable for it self, or is it enough using the one for the 7-2?

Hi guys. Thanks for your input. Somehow the Playmaker showed up as an AirPlay device. I managed to get sound out of my Beolab 7-1. But as mentioned in this thread the Playmaker is not Multiroom material. The Beosound Essence MK II is far superior in that way.

Finally Got the 7-2 mounted on a Horizon stand. Unfortunately to low so I have to redo it next weekend. Thanks to Kirin for the advice.
