    Hi, I am in contact with the support team too. I reported that the button to add an album is there, but that I have not been able to make it work.

    Furthermore that returning to the player, a lot of ‘<‘ clicks are needed.

    Hi all,

    I had a friendly conversation with the people from support pointing out the issues and was asked to wait for updates. And… the App is on 7.1 since yesterday (BeoGrace added), and it is now possible to add a full DLNA album to the playlist! I call it progress :-). However, when in the DLNA music collection, you still need to click all the way back to the home screen to control the playlist. I trust that will be fixed?

    Thanks for the update. I, too, informed B&O Support about the DLNA problem, as I noted earlier. I then deleted the app and decided to wait for a newer version. When I actually think about it, I’m not sure why I even bother with the app as I can play music seamlessly by streaming Deezer or Apple Music (i.e., the same as in the DLNA library) directly to the Beosound Core.

    Regardless, I downloaded App v.7.1.0 and it is as you say. DLNA albums now play as they should. Sort of… The DLNA function in the app has been somewhat clunky for a while.

    Hi, I think the app is getting better and better, still it is not perfect:

    Today I informed the customer service that the player is having some difficulty with the ‘random/shuffle’ functionality. This is sometimes switched on by default, and sometimes appears to be off, but still plays in random mode with no way to to switch that off.

    I like to play music through the app (because of my crave for a full B&O experience :-)) so will keep on informing them about what I experience.

    I did not know there is a MacOS app. Where do you find it? I cannot find it in the regular AppStore.  Is it somewhere on the B&O-site? I have an MacBook Pro M1 Max and I have tried to use the iOS-app but it does not work for me as it freezes on a background pic. AMacOS app would be great.

    There is no Mac app. Anyone with a M1 or higher Mac can install the iPad version on their Mac.

    The strange thing is that on my Mac (16 inch MacBook Pro M1 Max) the iPad app only shows an animation (see attached screenshot) on most of the window, and then there is a white field on the right side of the window. No menus/buttons available. I have tried to reinstall the app, but without any success. Same animation shows.

    Han anyone else had the same problem with running the iPad app on a Mac, and managed to get the app to work?

    Hi Bill, same here, no go. I did once ask B&O, they said: ‘As for the MAC mini, please be informed that the app is supported on phones/tablets but not on the desktop. ‘.

    Very strange. Work fine for some but not for others, all with M-processors. Especially strange that it works on one Mac Mini A4 and not on another…
    I have tried to delete and download the latest version of the B&O app, plus running MacOS on latest version. Though, it has never worked for me (have tried for a year).

    It works fine for me on my M1 Max Studio and my M4 Mini. Maybe look to see if it hid some preference on your Mac which can linger even if you delete the app itself.

    Yesterday I bought a new Macbook Air. I tried to install the B&o app, wanted just the way it works on my Macmini. But the latest version seems to be incompatable with MacOS:

    Apple Mac Mini M4 – app version 6.6.2 works

    Apple Macbook Air M4 – app version 7.3.3 does NOT work.

    Airdropped and started version 6.6.2 to the Macbook and the B&o app instantaniously started. Updated to the latest version………. same as before. So I stick with the older version for the moment.

    MM has later version B&0 app running………. what are the differences in the MacOS settings??
    So there seems to be a way to have the latest B&o app version running on a M4 machine. Nice challence.

    Updated the B&o app on the Macmini…………. and to my suprise …… the B&o app works (???)

    All versions including the new 7.4.0 beta work on my Mac mini M4 And Mac Studio M1 Max.

    Really strange. No version of the B&O app has worked on my MacBook in the last 15 months…

    I will have to dig around and try different settings, but I have to my knowledge never changed any of the standard settings. I have installed some windows management apps as I have a 40” monitor, but the B&O app doesn’t work either if plugged into the external monitor or in laptop mode.

    What exactly does it do? No instal or get stuck at a launch screen?
