    We’re excited to let you know that we will be relocating to a new office building in early August.

    As a result of the move our servers will be taken offline – we will take the opportunity to give them a good clean too.

    Hopefully it will only be for a day or so.


    📅 Timeline

    • July/August 2025 (exact dates TBA)

    🔧 Expected Impact

    • Server downtime: The forum (and related services) will be offline.

    • No access: You won’t be able to view or post during this maintenance window.

    We’ll post a reminder in this thread at least one week before the planned downtime, including the specific dates. Thank you for your patience as we make this move.

    If you have questions before the downtime announcement, feel free to reply here. We’ll update you as soon as we’ve locked in the exact dates.

    We now have a confirmed date for our ISP installation at the new office:


    📅 Wednesday, 16th July 2025

    • ISP Installation: Our internet service provider will be setting up connectivity in the new building.

    • Service Interruption: Once installation is complete, BeoWorld will go offline while we update our servers with the new IP addresses.

    • Estimated Downtime: We expect the forum to be down for no more than two days. We’ll work around the clock to get everything configured and tested.


    After this network cut-over, there will be a second, shorter shutdown when we physically relocate the servers into their new racks. We anticipate that will only last a few hours.

    We’ll post reminders in this thread:

    1. One week before the 16th July installation

    2. One day before the installation weekend

    3. Prior to the final physical move once those dates are set

    Thank you for your continued patience. We’re looking forward to returning online with improved infrastructure very soon!

    Sorry for the downtime!

    Our ISP ended up cancelling their installation visit, so we decided to use the time to carry out some maintenance – including a move to a brand‑new virtual server.
    It took rather longer than we expected, but everything should now be up and running smoothly.

    It should be much quicker than the last shutdown, we are not hopefully more prepared. As long as the ISP can get their side running.
