Hello,
just back from the movie theatre, Woody Allen’s “Coup de Chance”.
Maybe not his best film but still highly recommended, very enjoyable.
Hoping it is not his very last work, as he left to intend in one of his interviews.
There’s a lot of B&O product placement, I am glad B&O contributed in this good Woody Allen movie!
I have spotted a BV Contour, 2x BL28’s, 2x BS2 and 3x(!) BP HX.

1 January 2024 at 23:22 #34135Canadian movie “Testament”. Another Beovox something coupled with a non B&O amp and deck or TV but all with style. By the way, very funny movie for anyone above 50…
1 January 2024 at 23:27 #34136From the B&O website (where you might expect some B&O products :-)), there is something strange going on in the beautiful home of Malene and Nikolaj. https://www.bang-olufsen.com/en/nl/story/sounds-like-home-malene-and-nikolaj. In the video, at the end, the BG4000 is spinning backward! Does it need a fix? Are they trying to find hidden messages? Probably the editor prioritizing aesthetics.
Definitely spinning reversed! Can’t see how it prioritizes the aesthetics though: no particular movement that could have been significantly different with the right motion…
6 April 2024 at 00:26 #34137Unfortunately no image as I did spot this recently in the cinema:
In French movie „Cocorico“, in Germany „Oh la la“ – by the way a very amusing film – Christian Clavier as Frédéric Bouvier-Sauvage (an aristocrat living in a castle) played a record using a Beogram (3000?) and a Beomaster 3000. We could not see any Beovoxes. Very well selected!

I agree (style)! I spot the very nice shelving system Cado Royal, designed in 1948 by Danish designer Poul Cadovius
21 August 2024 at 06:55 #58497[Slightly O.T. but nowhere else in current forums…] Sighting of B&O in “Architectural Digest” magazine: June 2024 issue, a Beosound Edge. It’s wall-mounted in a Los Angeles building rehabbed by architect Wes Jones, now a studio for designer Giampiero Tagliaferri. No product mention, only in the photos: https://www.architecturaldigest.com/gallery/tour-designer-giampiero-tagliaferris-avant-garde-la-atelier
28 August 2024 at 11:13 #58649Many mentions of B&O products in the Danish, Aarhus based TV Show “Dicte”.
Each time it is used to underline de wealthyness of a character when police visit his appartment: “He must be rich, it’s B&O TV !”No captures sorry…

multicare.org.uk15 October 2024 at 20:15 #60173It’s not strictly ‘B&O in movies’ but every time I see this M&M advert (currently showing on UK TV) I have a minor panic as I think my BeoVision* is powering down of its own accord!
* Mine’s a BV10-32 – not sure if all newer BeoVisions have the famous B&O curtain effect.

Unfortunately no, a VERY regrettable regression.
But as TVs are no more engineered by B&O, I imagine it will never come back.
There was some kind of magic with the curtain opening, in sync with the sound level increasing, and reverse when turning the TV off.
Now on my Theatre + LG, the image pops-up and the sound comes… later 🙁
Regards,
Yann.
