GOLD MemberI have a Beomaster 3000-2 which is in great cosmetic condition and is working (I’ve only tested the radio so far, but it works), but there is a noticeable buzzing noise coming from the unit itself when it is switched on. The buzzing is coming from the unit itself, not the speakers. It’s not very loud but it is noticeable, and if you touch the top of the unit while it is switched on, there’s also a noticeable vibration. Again only slight, not you do feel it. Imagine putting your hand on a desk which has a vibrating phone on it.
I’ve read (on the old forum, and elsewhere) that this seems likely to be the bushes holding the transformer in place. Before I take a screwdriver to it, would anyone agree that this is likely the fault, and if so, where i would be able to get the right bushes to replace the existing ones?
