    Just a little feedback.

It’s been a little bit more than one year since I have made the modification with the heat shrink tube as describe above. My beousound 9000 is still working great. I use it nearly every weekend.

I still enjoy watching and listning to it like the first day.

Lesbart, this is exactly the problem.

If I mix MKI and MKIII service manuals, sometimes I can find what I am looking for, but not everytime.

Thank you very much for your help !

This is the document I have got. You can see that some diagrams can’t be read.

I think there is only this version avaible on internet…

Hi all and happy new year !

I have found a service manual for my MKII BS9000. But the quality is really poor… I can’t read several diagrams. Especially the Diagram J

Does anyone knows where I can find a good quality version ?

The MKI and MKIII service manual are too different to be used.

    Thanks in advance

When I took off the old worn damper on my BS9000, I measured it with my caliper. The outside diameter was 3.60mm.

I forgot to measure it with the heat shrink tube on it. But I think, the diameter is around 4.00mm.

An OD of 4.00mm seems to be the right dimension.

    Thank you Matador,

Yes, I will make a feedback in several weeks.

There is one thing I have noticed when I opened the unit, is that the damper was moving freely around the rocker arm. Is it normal? Is it due to the wear? I don’t know. With the heat shrink over it , the damper is more tight on the rocker arm. That’s the only difference.

Will the wear out faster ? I don’t know, time will tell.

For the moment everything is fine.
