Hi @steve1977 the kit comes directly from B&O, when they return your freshly painted chassis from the beogram you supply. Then Multicare of Leeds do the rest. The colour as I understand was only changed for the limited run that B&O upgraded and sold directly by them. I have wire connected mine to the Beosound Core inside my shape via the line-in connector. There is a small delay between the Beogram and the shape but it sounds great and I was shocked at how little needle noise there is.

Just got mine back (4002) from Multicare. It sounds amazing connected to my Shape. I made the cabinet myself complete with integrated Halo remote charger and music sync LED’s.

I think it looks great. I would love to know if they will offer the same service for the BS9000, as they did for the 4000c program?
