as there is no info avalable on the pASi relays anymore and the website of the new owner has no technical data ,

 

I will need to do a reverse search.

dk is modify-ing the relay ( most likely cutting of 2 legs ) ,

i only need to know what type / brand of relay they are selling

As adviced bij Dillen ,

replacing the relay after 30 years is a good idea as the contacts have detoriated a lot !

this is clearly visible in the metal “coating” on the inside of the plastic housing .

= the real problem however turned out to be TR19 , after replacing the bc337 the relay responded to the standby signal again ( as is was shorted to mass , the relay was active all the time ) .

En dankzij de vele adviezen en reacties ( geen enkele ) hierbij de werking ;

rl1 wordt bekrachtigd bij het inschakelen van de beomaster ( dus stekker in het stopcontact ) die koppelt dan dus de eindtrappen los van de power supply .

Kies je vervolgens een bron , dan zorgt tr19 er voor dat het relais afvalt en dus de powersupply wordt verbonden met de eindtrappen dus gevolg …….er is geluid !!

bij mij was dus tr19 doorgeslagen dus rl1 bleef aangetrokken ongeacht de status van het standby-signaal op de basis van tr19.

Oplossing tr19 vervangen , bc337

Heb nu dus weer een werkende beomaster 7000 .

those covers are used , their MKII versions .

the right one has a new lcd and is much brighter .

I wondered if there was a way to make the other one a bit brighter

looks like the relay rl1 is acting a bit strange ,

only has an active break-contact , i don’t know if that is supposed to be that way as the schematic indicates it should be closed active via tr19 .

am i missing something here ??

no , both have new lenses , the bright one is a newer lcd module .

Yes , that plug is present .

Strange thing it stopped suddenly without a plop , only silence on all 4 outputs .

i noticed there is no “pop”sound when i switch on the master , so it looks the whole amplifier section is not working .

Mute relay is working .

 

Is there a fuse  for the power-amp section ?

no output at all .

so pcb 7 is not the cause ( i think )

both right and left is missing on every output

Type of music does not matter , the 4 of them are connected to a beomaster 7000 , volume on the set around 40 when the “soft clipping “starts on 1 of the 4 penta’s ( always on the same unit )

And this problem excists whatever source is played , always around 40 ( ish )

and working again ,

these latches are prone to plastc fatigue and will simply break in time

question 2 has been resolved , found someone who could supply me with a new lcd.

 

Question 1 remains open , is there a way to give the backlight more intensity ?

De 2e vraag is opgelost , iemand gevonden die me kon helpen aan een display zonder schade !!

 

De 1e vraag blijft wel open , kun je die achtergrond verlichting wat feller maken ??

it is the “high quality ” 5mm double shielded cable ………………………

from a reputable seller ( not ali ) .

it does not affect my hearing experience , i was only worried about the speakers .
