BRONZE MemberStrange. Did you try to add a powered hub ? Maybe the cable needed more power… The original Apple USB-C to jack for the AirPods Max is what we can call a “proper analogue cable” as the DAC is inside the cable…

BRONZE MemberHere is the updated list of products for the 100th B&O birthday :
(limited to 55 ex.)(Limited to 100 ex.)So there are currently 155 UHNWI customers that can celebrate the birthday year with a special product… Do you think there won’t be anything compatible with a “standard B&O budget” ? For the 90 years there was only the BL90 as new product, which is not for everybody, but the special edition rose gold products were nice (I bought a rose gold A9 which I still use daily). I hope there will be something a bit special added to the standard range, not just a color this time.Mbee
BRONZE MemberI thought I would see the difference in size between the TV and the lower glass panel, but in real life it’s not noticeable.

BRONZE Member@Multicare: thank you, it was a pain to have my topic online, but now everything is fine!

BRONZE MemberIt should work.
…and if it doesn’t (which I doubt), Apple has a free return policy on its store !

BRONZE MemberI’m surprised nobody has mentioned the first « flagship » 100th year product : Beovision Theatre « Art deco atelier » with matching BL28…

BRONZE MemberSorry for the post formatting, everything is going mad when I add images… And when I edit, it’s marked as spam…

BRONZE MemberI don’t see the point of this topic. BV10 is yesterday’s B&O, a time where you needed to as your dealer to come add a device to the PUC list (a thing I did at first install and added Apple TV to my BV8 in 2015, a puc code that is still working today with new Apple TV versions).
Today’s « dysfunctional » B&O is connected to the internet and let you add any puc via direct download if available.
Maybe you were speaking of the day where there was no PUC at all, everything worked indeed, but features were very limited…

BRONZE Member@Severed hand of skywalker: we’re speaking of Beosound 5 Encore here, a device where Windows has never been…
On my side, I sold mine because I was moving home were it didn’t had a place to be manipulated from the couch anymore, and because it’s not compatible with streaming services, but I think that it’s still a great way to browse digital music « physically » with the big wheel and MOTS system. If you search something to have a physical interface with your flax library on your NAS, it could still be interesting, but be prepared to clean your library (cover images are limited in size and must be names folder.jpg for instance).
On the other side, I’m not sure B&O radio will continue to work on it for a long time, and if you use streaming services or want to mainly control your playback via remote (app is not available for it), it will just be painful.

BRONZE MemberNo, it can only work with a Mozart TV (only the Theatre currently) and Mozart speakers (Level/Balance…)

BRONZE MemberHi,
I had the exact same issue with my Eclipse MKI (which is basically the same product) : once the EEPROM board (a daughterboard connected to the Eclipse Motherboard) has been replaced, no issue anymore.
The replacement including labour was about 60o€ (for an Eclipse, I hope it’s less on a Stage)
Mbee
BRONZE MemberWorks, only issue is that you don’t have mybuttons configuration available.

BRONZE MemberThe interesting thing is that the screen saver has been delayed strongly, so I never see it anymore (LG C3), so even if there’s an ad before the screensaver, I may not see it.
Mbee
BRONZE MemberFeature wise, I’ll be happy to get the display of radio stations and music titles in audio mode like on the Harmony, but at the bottom of the screen instead of the top, when using my Eclipse.

BRONZE Member@T.W.G this API only works with Mozart based products, ASE and older cannot be controlled this way.

BRONZE MemberWhy did they release an ugly bulky stand? The original looks way better. Also, the black of the 9000c looks cheap, like a Sony counterfeit of the original!
Mbee
BRONZE MemberWhy not… maybe release a limited app (time or functions) with a one time (9,99€) payment to unlock everything.
I hate subscription apps, would not try if it’s subscription based.Mbee
BRONZE MemberOk, so it’s a Core with Mozart and HDMI ARC.
If it’s also HDMI CEC, it can allow control of any TV with BR1, but B&O don’t say that so I would not bet on it… Maybe that could also come in the future.
The only problem I have with it it that it raises again the price for Core, and it replaces the Core where a lot of people don’t need HDMI (for audio use only). I would have preferred that they had kept the Core for people who don’t need HDMI.

BRONZE MemberI can confirm, LG C3 on mkI Eclipse Soundcenter works, with a bit of diy work (homemade brackets, that’s all). Futureproof not guaranteed but Soundcenter MkI is using HDMI ARC so quite standard.

BRONZE MemberI would worry a bit, as the screen is very fragile.
If you have a motorized stand : on the TV menu, select « transport mode » in the stand options.
Remove the front panel first and put it in a safe place.
Disconnect every cable, unscrew the screen part from the sound center, and never pinch the screen while moving it. Also, never put your hand higher than the top of the electronic box, because if you take it at a higher point, it will bend and break (tested, I can assure that it can break easily). It’s a two men job.
Then the best is to put the panel in its original box with the polystyrene parts in their places.for the sound center : just unscrew the extremity panels and place them in a safe place, as there are at the extremities, they can be easily scratched when moving.
Unscrew the sound center from its stand and place it in a box (quite heavy but one man can do that alone).
…and then have fun moving the motorized floor stand if you have one, that’s like the big discs at the gym ?
