I had an ‘issue’ where it seemed my 28 stereo pair was updated in the app, but it was only the primary 28. The secondary 28 was still on the old software and the update didn’t show. When I unpaired it, the software update immediately popped up for the secondary 28 as well. Maybe this could help you as well if you want to force an update
Yep sorry, misunderstood the question. As far as I know this is not possible to change when the 28’s are being used via DPL.
Select your 28’s pair in the app and go to Settings > Audio Quality. Theatre doesn’t have this option.
Yep. 28’s to my Theatre. And also used a Balance as surround speaker via DPL.
Everything works fine, but I’d like to still be able to use my speakers independently from Theatre – which is not possible via DPL. So I am back to PL.
The new Beoconnect Core has Tidal Connect integrated, 24/96 is supported via that route… For what it’s worth 🙂
I don’t own a Core, but I do know that Tidal has its own limitations via Google Cast. So that might be your issue 🙂 Please see below.
I quote:
”Google Cast
Now all HiFi Plus subscribers can stream in HiRes FLAC on your Chromecast-supported devices via Google Cast within the TIDAL App. Please note, any file that is greater than 24-bit/48kHz will be streamed as 16-bit/44.1kHz if connected through Chromecast.
Thank you for being loyal TIDAL subscribers. We look forward to hearing your feedback!”

It comes with a Beoconnect Core, I reckon that’s responsible for app connectivity 🙂
I have it as well, also with the Theatre LG G3 combination, not very often though. Once every few months. Rebooting the BR1 resolves it for me and is faster then powercycling the Theatre etc 🙂
Hi,
Yes, that works with Listening Modes but not with Sound Modes…
Does anyone know how to delete a Sound Mode? Swiping right to left does still work with Listening Positions, but not with Sound Modes…
ps. I’m on iOS and it’s a sound mode I created myself, not the B&O ones.
21 June 2024 at 17:38 in reply to: B&O radio, does anybody else experiences dropouts or repeats? #56671Same here, some hiccups every now and then on various Mozart stuff (BL28/Theatre/Balance). Also UniFi setup with 750mbit WiFi, U6 Pro ap’s and fine connection for all devices (>400mbps, only 5Ghz, connected to dedicated ap, for every device).
Definitely a B&O radio issue. Tidal works fine.
I don’t have a Stage, but it seems it’s fixed in the current app release (6.0.1)
Thank you!
I mainly used AirPlay for streaming so I managed my queue in other apps than the B&O app. I thought I overlooked the functionality or it was another hidden long press, but apparently not…
Standby doesn’t seem to help with Theatre. A workaround for now is streaming one song via another source (i.e. Spotify Connect or even Tidal Connect), you won’t see a queue anymore in the player screen. When you then use the integrated Tidal source again it has created a new queue.
Haven’t tested this but might work with Deezer as well 🙂
Does anyone know how to clear the Play queue in one go? I am using the Tidal integration. There’s like a million songs in there now and I don’t want to delete those songs one by one.
I had similar issues with a Linksys mesh setup. Enabling uPnP on the router did resolve some issues. Might be worth to try.
After lots of tinkering and frustration I swapped the whole thing for a non-mesh Ubiquiti setup. Probably not the answer you were hoping for, but that fixed everything… Has been super stable since. According to my dealer, B&O and mesh networks are not a happy marriage.
I have a 55” Beovision Theatre. Status LED still works the same for me as before the update; on when playing a music source, off when the TV is also on
Hi,
I think this topic will be helpful: https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/topic/control-lg-tv-with-beoremote-one/
I have not read about the native support, that could change things. I have a LG G3 which still needs a hardwired connection between the tv and an Stage or Theatre to use BR1.
It’s quite common for OLED panels, especially the larger sizes. As long as your picture isn’t affected when looking directly at it I shouldn’t worry too much about it.
I currently have a 55” G3 with Theatre also with some (very) light bends. I had way worse bends in my 65” Sony A90J, but it didn’t affect picture quality.
