Hi all,

Has anyone got a Beo4 with “Special Command 2” on it please?

I assume Keith has one, because his “Region Free” instructions require the

use of one .

Has anyone got one ?- Even just for a loan ( and I pay shipping each way- I’m in Australia)

Hello again Guy,

You’re right – thanks to Mr 10% I now have the special remote that

shows the REG 2 command. And thanks to your advice , I have now got SHIFT as a

command on the Beo4.

After all that I still can’t make the DVD region free,

Thanks heaps for your reply- I now have SHIFT on the Beo4 !

I followed Keith’s instructions , but still not region free.

It does say it’s important to disconnect the DVB-T module before making the DVD

Region Free.

Where will I find the DVB – T ?

Thanks to all concerned for the input – much appreciated.

It looks like Mr 10% might have solved my problem- he has

a special remote that I can have.

I’ll keep you posted on whether it’s been successful or not .

I programmed region free on my DVD1 awhile ago using the standard BEO4.

Thanks for the feedback Keith, but I’ve found the standard BEO4 won’t display REG 1 or Reg 2,let alone “shift”as per step 10.

I believe bronze members can contribute many solutions to a Q&A forum, so their membership and input is gratefully received.

However, I believe Beoworld membership should have only 2 levels- Basic and Premium with Premium required for access to user and service manuals.
