          Hi Julian,

          thanks for your E-Mail.

No I plugged in my B&O Form 2 Headphones 😉 and the speakers dont mute if  i push the Mute-button but the red Mute-Light switchs on like normal. But the sound in the earphones and loudspeakers is still on.

            Thanks Guy!
It worked! Didn´t know that the connection between Beolink 1000 and the BC is down after changing the battery. Thought its just the wellknown “CODE”-issue.

            Have a great weekend!

Hi Capt´n Gerard 😉 hi Gaea,

thanks for your message and greetings to the Netherlands!!!

It was the lost programm. I just pressed “Sound” – “1” – “Store”.
So if changing the battery also the Beolink 1000 can loose the connection. So its not just seeting the “CODE” back to work….

              Have a nice weekend!

                Hi Guy,

I made it. The new battery is installed and well soldered. Reprogrammed and no “CODE” in the display. I can press all the buttons on the Beocenter and everything reacts like new. But a new problem has arisen that wasn´t there before. The Beocenter doesn’t respond to the remote control. Cant steer iot withe the Beolink ?!? I am quit sure that I have not touched or changed the area around the remote receiver in the Beocenter.
Do you have any advice for me?
                Greeting! Stefan

                  Hello8 Guy,

I made it. Used a desoldering pump and now waiting for the new battery 😉

                  Best regards!

                    Thanks once more Guy!

That was a “close” result……hope the wine was better 😉
Will do so and will use a desoldering pump as well. Just ordered it…

                    Take care !

                    Best regards!

                    Stefan

                      Hi Guy,
I hope you had a nice evening – with rugby and red wine ;-). Who was the winner?
Thanks to your advice, I found the battery below the left PCB (picture Battery found). I only had to carefully detach two cable connectors from the PCB to the right of it (Battery removed cable) and then carefully lift the board above the metal box and turn it to the left. Anything else would have been too time-consuming, as I would have had to unplug all the plugs from the metal box. So I will probably get to it well with the soldering iron.
The yellow residues on the battery are only adhesive residues from the protective paper on the battery – no leaked liquid from the battery.
Now I’m going to order a new good button battery. What do you think? Is the battery only soldered to the contact plate at the top of the + side? Do you think that I can simply pull out the battery at the top after soldering it free from the + (top) side or is it also soldered at the bottom of the – side? Is hard to see?

                      Best regards! Stefan

                          Hello Guy!
Thank you so much for the quick answer on a friday evening 😉 and all the best from Cologne to the UK 😉 I just checked the BEO 9300 and I think you are absolutly right. The battery seems to be located under the metal cover under this PCB you marked in green. That seems tricky. I hope that I can remove the PCB without damaging these very small cables cause I totally have to remove this PCB. Do you think I can remove the cable sockets without damaging or just leave them at the PCB trying to get under it ?
                          Have a great weekend!!!!

                          Stefan

Thank you so much Guy!!!! I thought that I can run the Beovox 100 with “nearly” 80 Watts in the relaisbox cause the have a maximum music power loading of 110 Watt. But perhaps it´s good not to go over 60 Watt as you recommended.
                              See attachement.

                              Best regards and happy christmas!
