Good news. I’m unsure what changed as no update has been installed, but playing at lossless audio via Spotify Connect is now working on my Mozart speakers (balance and level).

I got an answer from B&O. They informed the shared it with there internal team so it can be considered for future develepment. Good to share it all 😀

Spotify reports that “this speaker is not capabele of playing lossless audio”. As the chip is overpowered, is it safe to assume this would this be fixable with a software update? Or is there a technical constrain? Probably, we have to wait for an update from B&O.

Multiple reasons:

– I have a couple of  Mozart speakers and like the interface and functionality of the platform
– I expect better integration of an Mozart stage with my existing speakers
– not wanting to buy a soon to be discontinued product
