It is amazing what happened. Finally fixed it.

After like 10 hours of crimping. Buying new cables. New wall sockets. Cable tester…etc..

the problem was the original B&O powerlink 1.5 meter from the wall socket to the speaker.. the ground on the cable was not working 🙁

changed the cable and suddenly no noise!!

already called service to send me a replacement cable

      thank you all!!

I had the exact same thought. Actually I was kind of afraid that the speaker had a problem. Connect it straight and no noise at all.

I ordered a cat7 s/ftp and another wall socket. So I can run from the theatre to the socket with a new powerlink and from the other socket to the 18s again with powerlink.

          thank you for the reply

I re-did all the wiring. bellow I am attaching new photo of the wiring. is like the video you send.

          still noise..

maybe because one side is straight to original plug and the other one to a wall socket?

bellow find attached the wall socket

is there any socket that anyone has tested and knows it works?

I am open to whatever wall outlet works

the cables running in the wall are from b&o original powerlink.  I just cut the one side and connected to the wall socket from behind.

what type of wall sockets are you using? I am guessing it is the wall socket

I have a tube inside the wall from which I run the cable

That is why I cut it. To connect it to the wall socket from behind and then run a new cable from the beolab 18 to the wall socket

do you have noise? what wall outlet did you use or how did you mount the cable to the wall socket? you have a photo?

When attempting to find workable solutions for non-standard or ‘novel’ configurations of B&O equipment, it is not unusual for there to be several different methods to move towards the desired results. This thread is fairly typical of some of the more complex configurations discussed within the forum. However, the two main solutions that you have been given share very similar (possibly identical) hardware requirements in terms of cables and adaptors. I think that it is time for you to get hold of the required hardware and conduct experiments to work out which solution you prefer. As mentioned earlier in the thread, you will probably need to look carefully at how you control volume for your headphones, and also make sure that the BS9000 responds correctly to your B&O remote, if you need that functionality.

true. this is very reasonable approach. when I receive the cables and get my MMC2 back from service, I will start working around with it and let everybody know

No, I mean this: BS9000 (aux) to splitter … Splitter socket A to Beogram (accepts input – pins 3&5) Splitter socket B to Moment (provides fixed line level output – pins 1&4) BS9000 (powerlink) to BT transmitter (provides variable output, as required for headphones, controllable with BS9000 volume panel or associated Beo4) And that’s my last ‘input’ for tonight – it’s been a long day … ?

Sorry for my late reply but I had a crazy day at the practise

Your connection diagram seems very logic.

Steve suggested something else. To connect the Bt to the splitter

Hi eprokos, Thanks for your question and for your direct email, which I have also replied to. Guy is correct that we can take a fixed volume output from the Aux socket using an Aux splitter (linked in Guy’s post) and then I can make a cable to take the output signals from the Aux socket to your Bluetooth transmitter (please order any DIN to RCA cable on my site and request that it is wired as Aux output) so that you don’t need to switch cables. The aux socket works as an input and an output at the same time. Any questions, please ask! Kind regards, Steve.

Thank you Steve for your reply here as well as in the emails.

Guy suggested to connect the Bt transmitter to the PL of the BS9000 not the Aux socket.

                      Which is correct?

I also have to thank everybody else 🙂

What do you mean pass both the BS9000 and BG65000 to the moment? how can I do this?

I was answering your question using similar terminology! Perhaps I should have said that my amended solution would pass either BS9000 or BG6500 to the Moment (depending on what source you select on the BS9000, CD or AUX).

and how I can the stream to Bt transmitter?

From the variable Powerlink output, in this amended solution.

                        so you mean this:

                        Beogram 9000 ———>            AUX (BS9000)

                        BS90000 (powerlink) —–>    splitter —A—–> Moment

                        BS90000 (powerlink)  —->   splitter—B—> BT transmitter

Anyway, instead just connect the BS9000’s variable Powerlink output to the BT transmitter, and connect the fixed output (from the adaptor) to the Moment’s line-in. With the above solution I would not be able to pass to the Moment either the BS9000 or the Beogram6500, right? The level is very important and it is good that it was mentioned here

My amended solution would pass both BS9000 and BG6500 to the moment. The AUX socket is not just an input – it also works as a continuous line level output of whatever source is playing on the BS9000.

                            With the following connection diagram:

                            Beogram 9000 ———> AUX (BS9000)

                            BS90000 (powerlink) —–>splitter —A—–> Moment

                            splitter—B—> BT transmitter

the BS9000 can control only the volume of the cd’s not the volume of the Aux?

                            thank you

Me too, cant wait to find a solution too and use it on daily basis.
Of course I will share the results

You are absolutely right, have not thought of that.

maybe instead of a transmitter, I need an amp with bt connectivity. But i dont like the idea

Sorry but I got a bit confused 🙂

                                      A) connect the beogram 6500 to the https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/11-312-7-pin-aux-splitter-dual-aux-tape-input-sockets.html#/20-length-02m

                                      B) connect the above splitter to Beosound 9000 in the Aux port

                                      C) get the other end of the splitter and connect it to a Bt transmitter

                                      D) Get a https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/110-329-5-pin-din-to-twin-rca-powerlink-compatible-to-non-bo-hifi-amplifier-receiver-etc-din-to-twin-phono.html#/2-length-1m and connect to the powerlink of BS9000 to the BS Moment

                                      correct??

You are right. There is the cable.

So new thought is to connect the 6500 to the 9000 with the integrated cable

Then from the 9000 to make a cable with two pairs or RCA. One pair to Moment. Second pair to a Bt Transmitter. Is this possible?

                                        Thank you

                                          Good idea!!

I just need a cable to connect from the Beogram to the Beosound 9000 and then to Moment.

                                          One less problem.

Then maybe you know a device than can take as an input the output of the Beosound and choose if it streams to Bt or bypass to Moment?

                                          Thank you
