Ah I see, masterlink will do it too. Glad you got it working!
Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:I don’t have an Eclipse to test this with, but I know that with my Theatre system, I have a speaker group that is comprised of a pair of BL18s and one BL19 – completely excluding the Theatre bar. However, things may be different with Eclipse
Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:So, is there anything plugged into the Powerlink port on the 9000? If not, you’ll need an option 1 plug.
Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:BS9000 IR commands will only work if there is something plugged into the Powerlink port. Do you have speakers connected? Changing option mode via remote also requires buttons that I don’t believe are available on the BR1. You would have to use an older remote. I recommend Beolink 1000 or Beo4.
Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:Wow good stuff! Looks like you have some things I don’t have. The original buyers only purchased the BM8000, BG8000, BC8002, and SC80 cabinet, so I have the paperwork for all of those. No info on speakers. From what I can tell these systems are pretty hard to find in the US, especially with paperwork.

You can control the BS9000 with BR One, but I don’t think there is a way to add the “Shift” command, which is required to access test modes.
Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:It does sound the same. Try the methods mentioned by Bill. In my case I had to replace the whole clamper arm (2854207) as it had physically broken due to heat and I couldn’t bend it back into shape. Old on left, new on right.

Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:The core should autoplay the line-in when a signal is received. The tricky part is easily joining the Theatre and Core together. Probably the best way to do it would be setting the group as one of your four preset buttons on BR One.
- Use the app to set Core to line-in, and join the Core and Theatre.
- Make sure your listening position and other settings are how you like them to the turntable.
- Then, press and hold one of the four preset buttons on the remote to save that configuration to that button.
Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:Can you connect the turntable directly to the line-in (USB-C) on the Theatre? Then you wont have to join the Core and Theatre, it will just autoplay on the the Theatre.

Is the scaping happening when the CD is spinning? Or is the scraping happening when the sledge is moving to another CD?
Either way, please verify that the placement screws are set correctly. See page 4-7 of the owners manual (found online).
Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:The display on the Harmony is fairly easily interchangeable, at least by B&O technicians and can be used with multiple models (for example LG C3/G3/C4/G4). You have it right that the Theatre is much more advanced with its Mozart platform brain. However, it’s hard to beat the beauty of the Harmony. Trade off both ways! If you have a good system you are using in tandem with the TV (good front and surround stage), then you may not notice a huge difference in audio quality between the two, other than the lack of atmos on the Harmony.
Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:I’ll give it a shot. Any advice for Danish vs Teak oil?
Location: Winter Park, FLMy B&O Icons:I don’t have experience with the Eclipse, but if its anything like the newer TVs, if you unplug the 18s it will still function. HOWEVER – it will continue to send L/R audio to the 18s so you will no longer hear those channels. You’ll need to change the config in the Eclipse to send L/R to the built in speakers instead.
Slide the covers UP and then pull away. You need to remove the cover first to disconnect the cables.
There is a notched nut on the bottom of the wall mount. It comes with a special tool for removal, but it can probably be done with some small needle nose pliers (carefully!). Remove the nut and lock washer and lift the speaker out of the mount.
Procedure for mounting the speaker on the wall is up to you, but I would make sure they are mounted into wood (ideally studs) with some decent screws or lags. All of the weight is sent to the bottom, that’s a lot of leverage.
Backing for sound quality shouldn’t be a big deal, they are ported out of the front. Just make sure they are safely mounted.
