Versions of Beosound / Beomaster 5 based on serial number?

Hi all, I am looking at a second hand Beosound/Beomaster 5 combination but I am wondering which version is the ‘improved’ one with the brighter screen on the BS5 and the 1 TB on the BM5. I saw somewhere july 2011 as production date for the 500 GB to 1 TB change, but I would like to know if I can see from the serial number or type number which version is on sale.

Related question: do all beomaster 5 suffer from the bad motherboard or is the 1TB version less prone to the issues.

Cant speak to the motherboard or storage, but updated display is from serial no. 23435307 onward.

This was the one I was searching for indeed. Does not mention if the issues with the motherboard got less with the 1 TB version, so that is still an open questiion.
