Hello, first time using these forums and I’m wondering if anyone can help me here.
Last year I picked up a BeoSound Emerge. Till now I mostly been using it with Bluetooth which been working fine other then the delay.
However I been looking in to how to stream music from my server. Currently I am using Jellyfin with a DLNA server which allows me to select music from my server in the B&O app. My issue is I have to pull out my phone every time and select the playlist I want to listen too. I have atempted to set a Playlist as a Favoritt, but ether I am doing something wrong or this isn’t supported with Homemedia.
The main reason I am concerned about this is I have a Beosound Moment currently, but it likes to crash. My B&O dealer said that’s fairly normal when using it with a DLNA server so I was hoping to replace it with 2x Emerges or a BeoSound core with a BeoRemote Halo, but I really do not like the idea of needing to pull out my phone every time to select my music. Least then the Halo remote feels a bit useless since as I understand that’s the only way to select music it seems.
I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Alternative products or solutions for my use case or other things to try.
