Restauration of ’69 beomaster

Good evening allerseits!

this is my first post here at beoworld…

a friend of mine is silently building a wonderful collection of B&O gear designed by mr. Jensen…

i agreed to help him restaurate them as good as possible. (As authentic as possible!) Now, he has got a beomaster 1200 and a beogram 1200 with white plinths. The beomaster is in quite good shape, but the turntable really needs a deeper touch-up.

does somebody know what colour (what paint, which hue) was used back in the 60ies?
