BRONZE MemberFirst of all, thank you for accepting me on the forum.
I’m troubleshooting a Beocenter 9500 that’s displaying a code error. I replaced the battery and entered code 1271 with the remote control, but without success. I discharged the memory by removing the battery and reset the PCF8583 chip. In your opinion, should I replace the memory chip? I should mention that I performed the “sound – 1 – store” procedure, and I did get a quick display response. Can you help me?Thank you.

I haven;t had to use it for a while, but the ‘1271’ procedure can be a bit ‘hit and miss’. Did you press RADIO first, then 1 2 7 1, then PLAY (or GO)? Maybe try a few times and perhaps try unplugging the BeoCenter before and afterwards. Leave it powered up on standby for a while before trying the procedure again.
