BRONZE MemberHi
Could anyone give me some advice and explanation of phono pre amps and Bang and Olufssen turntables please ? I appreciate some already have a built in pre amp but others do not .
My current Linn Sondek is being used with a pretty expensive Project phono stage . I used to have an MC cartridge but now use MM ones .
If I buy a B and O turntable that requires a pre amp ( RIAA) what should I buy please ? Or can I continue with my current phono stage ?
Many of the RIAA pre amps that appear to be suitable are not too expensive so is it best to go with one of these rather than spending a load of money on a phono stage ?
Have I previously been wasting money on an expensive phono stage when a cheap one would do ?
Cheers

GOLD MemberHi!
I have a RIAA I purchased from Sounds Heavenly (sponsor on this site). I use it between my Beogram 2200 and a Beocenter 9300.
It works very well and have a good price.
You can always try with your current phono stage.
