I have a playmaker and I’ve got the cat to powerlink female adaptor cable, which I use to connect to a Quad Power Amp – what I want to do is use the 5V trigger on the powerlink cable to trigger a relay to power up the Quad Amp rather than having to manually switch it on and off – does anyone know which pins provide that – I’m having trouble to find it on any technical details.

    Powerlink Pin 4.

I am posting for the second time because the first disappeared, possibly because I inserted a link.

Powerlink pin 4 is the one you need.

I often refer to PeterPan’s diagrams to check – scroll through the thread until you find what you need: https://www.hifi4all.dk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=32157&PN=1
