GOLD MemberThis has been up before and I have found threads i the old forums about it, but just to be sure:
Are there any known method to reattach (glue?) the hinges on the glass doors from an Ouverture. I guess one of the difficulties is to reestablish the black coating.

BRONZE MemberInn my attempts i did break the black coating, but from my experiments I found Loctite Extream repair seems to hold. I can remove the doors without it breaking, but how long it will last I do not know.
I tried epoxy, but that didn’t last very long in my attempts.

GOLD MemberThanks for the answer about the glue type 🙂
Was the black coating broken because of the glue or was i from the removal of the brackets?

BRONZE MemberThe black coating was ripped off when the Epoxy failed. I not noticed the Extram Repair affecting it. Tho I supose its possible my glue got better adhesion without the coatin ginn the way.
My thinking was it was worth trying. worst case i break a panel that is allready scratched up and according to my Local B&O store they had spare panels in stock.
