I have been advised to change a config file in my NL/ML Converter by B&O Support. They suggest finding the converter IP address and accessing the settings page using a web browser via a laptop but this does not work.

I need to change the sources linked to the TV command as I have removed Sky HD from the system and the BeoLab soundbar upstairs forces the TV to try to activate HDMI 1 for Sky – but Sky isn’t there anymore and as a result we get no sound from the Soundbar until I go back downstairs and select Live TV.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful!

    Hello Bob,

The NL/ML converter can be configured with any computer. You can access it like this (from the manual that you best get a copy of!).

‘Connection via an Internet Browser: Enter BLC- followed by the BeoLink Converter NL/ML serial number: [BLC-XXXXXXXX.local].’

    Regards and good luck, Johan.

    Hi Johan

I did try ‘BLC-XXXXXXX.local’ but get no response.

Using mac terminal app I have tried ping ‘BLC-XXXXXXXX.local’, this resolves to an IP address but the pings just timeout.

Hello Bob, instead of the XXXXXXX, you do use the serial number (that is printed on the label on your NL/ML converter), right? Just to be sure :-).

    Hi Tignam

I can’t see any serial number without taking the device off the rear of the TV, soon as I get a chance to do this I will have a look and see what happens.

The serial number I’m using at the moment I’m getting from a network scanner via my EERO mesh app.
