BRONZE MemberHi Guys, moving house soon and want to replace my LG G3-65 which I use B&O Theater etc. for a larger TV.
I’m looking at the TCL X11K 85″ which has built in B&O speakers, does anyone have experience with TCL TV’s and what are the chances of using the built in B&O speakers with my B&O Theater etc. (Probably a stupid question as I’m sure they will not.)
Also does anyone know if the B&O remote will work with TCL or any other TV (Like it does with LG)?Thanks 🙂

My B&O Icons:24 July 2025 at 09:10 #67710GOLD MemberI am pretty sure that these internal speakers won’t work, when the tv is connected to the BS Theatre.
Connecting the tv and the Theatre requires activating ARC/eARC in the tv (and CEC), which normally would exclude sound from internal speakers.
Only a test can tell.
Maybe someone else has tried it.B&O once made a table of what is possible with 3rd party tv’s.
The TCL is not in there, but it might give you an idea of the ‘troubles’ when not connecting to a recommended LG- tv.By the way – those built-in speakers do not rank high in the tests…….however, they seem to be better than most built-in speakers of the current tv’s.
And why would you want to use them, when you have a BS Theatre connected 🤔MMLocation: Flensborg————Danmark24 July 2025 at 09:32 #67712splud
BRONZE MemberI just thought maybe can add them to the center speakers? Just looking at whats out there that’s new as haven’t heard great things about the new LG G5 tv’s loosing some of the codecs etc. Although it appears that updates have improved the TV. Budget isn’t what it used to be… Maybe I’ll wait and see whats coming next year?
And lastly – just a bit bored at work (Winter here) and thought I would window/google shop and saw B&O on a TV! 🙂
Thanks for the information, Millemis (MM) & taking the time to respond.
