    Hi Beoworlders,

It’s time to meet the Bang & Olufsen Superfans! Please join me to meet our own Mr. Roast from the Beoworld forums, including a mystery B&O box and a working Beolink 7000 remote…

Are you a B&O “Superfan”? If so, please let me know and you could star in the next video!

    Kind regards, Steve.

I enjoyed this. As a Beogram lover, jealous of the black 7000. Made me laugh the 4000 tucked under the coffee table. Yes, space tends to be an issue .

Thanks @square4 it was such an enjoyable morning speaking to Steve – there was a lot more filmed, mostly of me rambling on about B&O ?

I’d like to say thanks to everyone on the forum that I’ve benefitted from the advice of – particularly @hcraig244 for the work he’s done on my BG4000 and BM6000, thanks guys!

One question for the british B&O lovers:

We all love B&O for sure. But is here a fan who grow up in the eighties?

In Germany at the time, B&O had a major rival: Braun. The brand has still today many fans. (Beomaster 5000 vs Braun Atelier A2 etc etc)

What about the situation in the UK in the not so recent past? Was B&O the unrivaled champion of design in the UK in those days? Or was there a head to head race?

I know that Italiens love Brionvega stuff from the seventees. I know there were many british hifi companies, but none of them had this design and hifi attitude like Braun, Brionvega or Wega (keep in mind Harmut Esslinger was the first Apple Designer). Is this the case?

I am not british but I am born in 1962 as a german guy 😉

BeoSystem 5000 with BeoVox RL 140 was my first Musicsystem from B&O in the eighties.

BeoVision LX 2800 with Beocord VHS 82.2. Both in white finish.

Since this time I am a big B&O fan and I a lot of stuff come and go over the years until today.

Now I have a BVE 65 MK2 with STB Gyro wallholder and with alu/silver grill. I have connect BL12.3 in front and BL12.2 at rear and BL3 as high speakers.

My Soundsystem is still always a BS 6500 in silver/black with BeoLab Penta MK2. I have also a BS Encore with BL3.

For watching movies I use one of the latest an Oppo 203 BD player.

As a ML fan I have a BL 3500 and a BL 2000 in other rooms.

and so on ……. 😀 Beoremotes, Headphones etc
