Hello from Las Vegas!
I have a 4000 with a dead left channel and before I go and do a total re-cap thought I might ask is there any known idiosyncrasies as to voltages on this unit. Because I am getting some weird ones.
It has that extra 8002135 board…loudness?….that had some out of spec resistors which I replaced but things are still not right.
The resistor marked 1500 ohms should be 2.7k like the one I replaced.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Should it happen again, i would start there.

9 February 2025 at 09:04 #63599Hi,
Good that you figured it out.
You mention a 1,5kohm resistor you suggest shall be 2,7kohm – is it 566 at basis of TR53 and why do you suggest this changed value?/Pindsen
